Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy headís floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This aleís sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Whoa, canít believe I hadnít rated this yet. Tried it again, bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a great slightly hazy orangish-amber color with a two-finger off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is fresh floral and citrusy hops, as well as some sweet malt. Flavor is caramel and pale malt, nice backbone, as long as orange/grapefruit and floral hops. Not too intense, just very well-balanced. Medium body with some lasting hop bitterness. Very good IPA overall.

In a tulip. A breath of fresh air IPA. Pours a dark, hazy orange (itís unfiltered) with a magnificent off-white head and laces beautifully. Aroma of citrus and fresh flowers, like a greenhouse. Taste seems unique among IPAs. Citrus (but not grapefruit) like orange, but not as sweet, watermelon, fresh ginger...awesome. Finishes nicely bitter, kind of like rose water. This may be my new favorite.

VERY tasty IPA. I absolutely love the citrus flavor that initially rolls across your taste buds (grapefruit and orange). Beautiful dark amber color with some tight lacing. Great overall hop flavor that blends perfectly with the citrus notes. Beautiful beer that you would love to introduce to your friend!. One of my new favorites1

Bottle. Nice amber coloured pour with a decent white head. Aroma of hops and citrus fuits. Tastes hoppy, malty, slightly sweet, citrus fruit, slight bitterness. Quite easy drinking. I really like Founders Brewing beers if only they were widely available here in the UK.

Pours a light copper color with a generous white head. Nose is orange zest and just a touch of grapefruit and pine. Not as overpowering as some (which is a plus to me). Nice citrus hop flavor that is balanced nicely by the sweet malt. I like this one.

Pours a light golden color with a considerable amount of white head. Nice aroma of citrusy hops, and very good hops flavor. Medium bodied, and an overall good IPA.

12 oz bottle courtesy of tytoanderso. Pours a translucent copper color with a clumpy off-white head that has fair retention. The aroma is faint and lightly floral and is accentuated with piney hops. The flavor is moderately biter with more piney hops set in a caramel backdrop and some biscuit on the side. The palate is silky smooth and creamy with lively carbonation. The finish is long with lingering biter walnuts. Overall : A very fine little IPA.

12 shorty bottle at the Brickskeller. Filtered amber-brown color, pretty translucent. Hoppy, full of flavor. Not quite as aggressive as on draft. Either way, lots of piny goodness. There are some APA earthy qualities, but certainly enough dry bitterness to justify itís IPAness. A great beer.
