COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of GoBlue - thank you Bill. Fresh, citrusy - but also somewhat soapy - aroma. Medium body with light caramel but otherwise completely dominated by very fresh and fruity aroma hops. Medium bitterness in the finish. 011206

Keg, copper orange color, fluffy white head, strong ass bitterness. Not my favorite thing in a beer. But it was refreshing and cold and the malt flavor was nice. A good spicy very bitter beer.

A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, combined with a lovely hoppy character, leading to a dry end.

Bottled. We had 2 samples of this beer. The first was totally sour and off, the second luckily in good shape. Orange coloured. Unclear. Light brown small head. Sweetness, fruits, pine and grass in the aroma. Flavour is full of herbs and pinee. Fruits and grassnotes. Medium bodied. Herbal bitterness in the end. Good one.

Bottled. Hazy amber coloured. Hops, caramel and cookies in the aroma. Sweetish flavour with notes of citrusy hops. Rather dry finish. Medium bodied.

Appears a dense, hazy, ripe peach toned orange. CO2 bubbles slowly rise in plentiful amounts to the small ivory cap. Gentle amounts of spotty and streaky lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of citrusy, orange, tangerine, caramel, and biscuits mixed with creamsickles and a dash of spice. Taste is of the same aromas with a moderate amount of caramel, toasty nuts, biscuit, and citrusy goodness coming together. Mouthfeel echoes the wonderfully done aromas and flavors. Balance is superb with a nice touch of creaminess, sweet caramels and biscuit, bitters of citrusy grapefruit, moderate carbonation, all in a medium bodied, balanced brew. Friends, it doesn’t get much better than this for an IPA. From the enticing visuals, to the lovely aromatics and sticky, sweet caramel flavors...she’s a winner.

Tasty stuff here. Maybe a little unbalanced to the bitter side, but clean and fresh tasting. The malt notes are subtle and understated, but the hops are big and bold. Nice stuff. Thanks, Secret Santa!
