COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy headís floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This aleís sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

A standard west coast India pale ale which does its job without impressing over the top. Easy to drink and fresh

12 oz. bottle from Lighthouse. It pours a rich gold color with an off white head. The aroma is strong with florals and some citrus grapefruit. Light crystal malt. The flavor is the same. Very floral with stronger crystal and toasted malts. Citrus in the background with a piney bitter finish. A really solid IPA.

Bottle. Sweet malt notes, mandarin juice, cranberry, pine hops. This is a particularly nice balance of aromas with a medium bitter bite in the finish. But otherwise itís a smooth sweet and clean finishing beer. Itís the balance of those three things that make it special to me.

Bottle. Pours dark hazy amber with a medium white head. Aromas of lots of citrus, some pines, grassy hops and some malt sweetness. Taste is pretty piney and malty sweet, some caramel, lots of grass but a good overall bitterness to it aswell.

Can from Systembolaget. Pours amber with lots of frothy, very slightly orange head. Medium body and carbonation. Some alcohol warmth. Pine, grapefruit, lemon, some peppermint and lemongrass flavour. A bit above average amount of bitterness for an IPA. Actually some sweetness in this as well.

"thanks Cory - a great ipa. lower ibus, but still manages a wonderful grapefruit and floral aroma and full hop flavor. balanced with some sweeter malts. deeelicious. this just goes to show an ipa doesnít HAVE to be a hop bomb to be vibrant, aromatic, and tasty...not that thereís anything wrong with that!"

Can from Systembolaget. Iím surprised I havenít rated this as Iíve had probably 20 cans in the last 4 months. Very hoppy smell with citrus, grape and pine. Similar taste. Strong bitterness but not harsh. Allot of hops in this.
