COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

bottle - hazy gold-orange ale. Nices frothy 3 finger cap, great lacing. roma is demure for an IP but balanced well between fruits citus and caramel malts. Flavor is balanced as well with hops dominating slightly, not as sweet as it smells fruity, resinous, citrus - nece amalgam mid palate...clean hoppy finish. no after taste. A very well made utilitarian craft IPA, I’d buy more

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is citrus, caramel, and grass. Flavour is much like the aroma - with a dry finish.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2013 Bottles from LCBO sixer. Holy living fuck Founders is at the LCBO, I think we may have jumped the shark people. Pours a nice pale amber with a small beige head. The aroma burst forth presenting a bouqet of Centennial hops but also a ton of caramalt underneath. Very flowery and enticing. The flavour does not disappoint with a perfect balance of the hop flavours and bitterness with the ample malt backbone. Biscuit and caramel stand out, along with perfume-y hops. What an awesome beer to have kicking around the Lickbow these days, Jaysus-Murphay. My only complaints are that it gets less drinkable the more I have it, with the sweetness standing out too much as well as excessive carbonation.

Gorgeous copper pour, big frothy sticky, off white/yellow/tinged orange head. Lovely fresh, green hop aroma. Big citrus, juicy, with hints of pine and a bit surprising noticeable dose of malt. Soft carb, medium mouth feel. Pungent bitter finish, loads of citrus, and more pine. Unbelievably well balanced and the 7.2% is very well hidden. World class.

pours with a light head that dwindles fairly quickly. aroma is hoppy with a strong hint of grapefruit. nice mouthfeel and tastes like it should be more hoppy than it actually is. smooth palate that mellows the citrus bite perfectly. "down the gullet."

clear golden with a medium white head. piney grapefruit aroma flavor is bittersweet with some strong resin and grapefruit notes and a gentle bitter aftertaste. medium palate with medium carb very balanced.

355ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is resinous hops, light tropical notes, apple juice, and mineral notes. Taste blends resinous, tropical fruit, and Euro-style hop notes almost equally with some sweetness, floral and mineral notes, and more floral/soapy notes in the finish. Lighter bodied than most IPA’s, this is very easy drinking, and well balanced. Recommended.

12oz bottle pored murky orange with off white head which doesn’t last long. The aroma is of grassy and pine hops. Some malt in the background. Really nice aroma. The flavor holds true with that grasy and pine mix which is quite flavorful. Medium mAlt backbone. Very good example and not over powering in hop flavor which some tend to do.
