COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

I just had this beer on draft at the brewery, and enjoyed it very much. My main ’problem’ with this beer is that, simlar to what others have commented on here, it seems quite malty for an IPA. Bottom line for me is taste, though, and this has the hops and tastes great.

Hazy golden-orange pour with dense finger of white head. Aromas of heavy pine and grapefruit, with some malty sweetness peeking through. Flavor is similar, with hops at the forefront, but by mid-sip, giving way to malt. The retail description is apt regarding the finish - one of the most balanced, cleanest, mellowest of any IPA I’ve had. Well done!

Aroma is a very bright hop, citrusy. Orange pour with a small white head. Taste is quite hoppy, but not intense. Not as citrusy as I would have expected. Soapy after taste. Very sharp carb and medium thick.

Nice, bitter, dry and well balanced. Little complexity, and some lack of aftertaste.

Pours hazy gold. Very strong first taste that lingers, with fruits, hops and citrus. Seeing the high alcohol content, that does shine through a lot, so depends on your tastes if you will enjoy it or not. Not too bitter for an IPA, but again, depends on individual tastes, some enjoy a very strong bitterness in this kind of beer.

Hazy amber, white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, fruits, resin, citrus, pine hops. Taste follows the nose. Citrus, peaches, resin pine, floral hops with a sweet caramalt background and a dry bitter finish. Oily, medium body.

Fyllig doft av gräddkola, mispel, ananas. grapefrukt och tallbarr. Smaken är stor och balanserad, medeltorr med fin uppbackning av lätt maltsötma. Allt avslutas med en lång fin eftersmak. Trevlig!

12 oz bottle, pours a nice golden orange with creamy egg shell colored head. Aroma of citrus, pine and hint of floral with just a hint of bread. Just a hint of bitterness. This is a really well balanced and drinkable brew from a terrific brewer.

Mørk gylden med lavt skum. Det lukter tropisk frukt, furu og sitron. Smaken er ganske bitter, med furu, grapefrukt og litt søt malt. Moderat bitterhet i ettersmaken, medium konsistens.

Copenhagen 15/2 2015. 35,5 cl bottle from SuperBest. Upon opening a little foam is peeking from the opening of the bottle. Cute. Pours slightly hazy gold with solid white head. Slowly subsiding leaving lacing om the side of the glass. Strong fruity slightly perfumed aroma. Not very strong carbonation. Taste is intense of decaying fruit with a solid bitter aftertaste and dry finish. Almost too much.
