Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Aroma - Light hops, not much aroma Appearance - Clear Amber, lots of head Taste - typical IPA; not crazy hoppy bitter, but standard (less than a Sierra Nevada for example) Palate - Finished pretty well for being a little bitter overall. Overall - Not a bad IPA, not a great one. Nothing remarkable, good or bad.

(35 cl can from Systembolaget; BBD: 07/03/15) Pours a hazy, deep amber with one finger off-white head. Decent retention and beautiful lace. Aroma is hoppy with citrus and grapefruit notes. Oily texture, medium body, medium carbonation and a lingering finish. Flavour is bitter upfront but is balanced out by a strong malt backbone in the end. Quite drinkable.

I’ve had this a bunch of times and it’s always been phenomenal. Just a perfect IPA. Everything you could expect and want. Super hoppy, super well balance. Just awesome and Founders is just a world class brewery.

Pour is extremely flat. Aroma is citrus and hops. Flatness make it go down smooth. Flavor is pretty much straight bitterness.

Corpo medio, effervescenza gentile, struttura oleoso-setosa, finale lunghissimo e persistente. Una IPA "rocciosa"!

A near perfect IPA. Pours nicely and has a very nice dark golden color. Taste is the classic IPA with a hint of toasted malt. The bitterness is well balanced and the taste is magnificent. In short: Perfect!

355 ml can from Systembolaget. Pours nice orange with beige/white head that reduces but stays long and leaves nice lacings. Aroma is full of tropical fruits, hop freshness and pine needles. A bit of orange citrus? Taste is full of resins, violently bitter - in addictive way. This one has strong pine character, citrus, lemon peels - but actually quite nicely balanced. Finish is long, full of hops and bitterness. Nice and throughly enjoyable.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, West Seneca, NY. A hazy amber pour with a trace of cream head; fresh woody hop aroma with a touch of tropical fruit; full bodied and with an assertive hoppy taste, with some sweet pineapple fruit; and a zingy, long lasting finish, with some lingering citrus and biscuit. Certainly a good IPA.

12 oz bottle. Just the hippy taste I hope for in an IPA with a pleasant after taste that sets this apart from others.

Bärnstensfärgad öl med ett stort skum. Arom av citrus, blommighet, karamell och lätt kryddighet. Bra mix av sötare fruktiga, blommiga humletoner och kryddigare, tallbarrslika.
