Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Pours red gold, light, pale head, subsides quickly. Lovely grapefruit, apricot aroma, with a hint of pepper-cumin. Flavor starts slightly nutty then wraps into a clean hop bitter. Nice mouthfeel. Overall a classic (?) IPA.

Bottle at home. Pours amber-orange in colour with a thin white head. Exceptional aroma of slightly musty yeast, pine resin and newly-mown hay meadow. Sweetness to start, then a big follow up of bitterness. Sweet, sappy malt that somehow retains some of it’s refreshing biscuit crunch. Tastes of fruit (orange, grapefruit) and more pine hop. Long, dry finish. Beautifully balanced - an outstanding beer.

Distinct floral aroma; fruity citrus aroma; sweet bready malt aroma. Attractive copper color; just slightly hazy; small off-white to light tan head. Taste is a very nice balance of sweet and bitter. Medium bodied; slick texture; average carbonation; finish is moderately long with fruity hop bitterness and sweet malts. Overall a quite good IPA; I particularly like the balance of hop fruity bitterness and sweet bready malts.

In bottiglia, a casa.

Aroma is citrusy, floral, notes of sweet mandarin and light malty caramel. Color is nicely amber, two-finger head, pretty cloudy, and frothy head. Taste is very balanced between malt sweetness and hop bitterness for an IPA. Medium body, light sticky texture, medium-light carbonation. Overall a well balanced and well crafted IPA.

God humlet øl, en IPA der rammer godt det en IPA skal have, den er meget blpmsteragtig i aromaen.

Hazy amber color, tan head. Sweet and malty aroma with notes of caramel and brown sugar. Taste follows the aroma with medium bitter hoppiness. Medium-plus body with oily palate. This IPA has more sweet maltiness than usual.

Tap at noggin room, Petoskey. Pours deep golden copper, small head. Aroma is citrus, orange, and just classic Centennial hops. Distinct maltiness (Midwest ipa), caramel. Flavor is a bit more bitter, orange citrus, but lots of caramel. Big Midwest ipa flavor. It’s very good, solid staple.

Smells of sweet bread and raisans. Looks hazy dark copper almost reddish. Taste of sweet Orange and mango some malt Flavor slight bitter boozy finish. Med body with light cardonation. Was sweeter and more fruity rind juice flavor then I was expecting based on what I slept. Nice work.

Can from Bradleys. Slightly opaque copper with a fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is full of resin and pine, very malty. Very dry and bitter flavour, a real mouthful.
