Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy headís floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This aleís sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Says on the bottle itís a dry-hopped unfiltered. Pours a moderate amber, slightly yellowish. Immediately notice how fizzy it appears to be, one of the only IPAís iíve seen with this much lacing. Head pours medium and lingers , itís slightly rocky and medium-to-large celled. Aroma is a nice mild mix of citrus and floral notes. Taste is nice, sweet citrus to begin with and ending with floral flavors on the nose. Moderate mouthfeel, not velvety smooth but not coarse. Very slightly fizzy, but not mouth-scouring. Not overly bitter, much more floral than bitter.

Btl pours clear bronze color with an off white compact head that hangs around for a while leaving massive amounts of lace on glass. Smells of sweet perfume, flowers, grass, pine and citrus zest. Tastes of sweet caramel, resin, grapefruit and bread sticks. Medium body, silky smooth mouthfeel, perfect carbonation and a soft tongue coating slightly bitter finish. Fresh, crisp, smooth, balanced, what more can I say. Itís like a party in your mouth! Phenomenal!!!!

Picked this up from Chipís in Kill Devil Hills, NC while on vacation. Bottle date is 9/3/15 so it is fresh. Pours a clear amber with lots of head. Aroma is floral and maybe a hint of pine with a nice amount of an almost lightly candied sweetness. Reminds me a lot of Two Hearted but that is to be expected with Centennial hops. Taste is sweet but with a nice bitterness and overall this beer is well balanced. Medium bodied with a dry finish. I would buy this if it was available where I lived.

Bottle at home (bottled 04/13/2015). Pours a clear to light hazy orange amber with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops and sweet malts, orange, peach, caramel. Taste is sweet fruity followed by hoppy bitterness, malts, caramel, orange, dry, bitter ending, bit resiny. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Not bad.
