Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Very bitter. Pours a dark, cloudy, robust orange. Very pretty appearance. Head is minimal; which you hope for in an IPA this heavy. Tastes of too much alcohol. Not a fan of the hop used. Probably wont purchase again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of orange, yeast and flowers. Pours dark golden with a small, frothy head. Orange, grapefruit and citrus taste. Medium bodied, average carbonation, long and bitter after taste. Superb!

Pours deep golden, almost amber, with small beige head. Aroma is floral and piney with slight hint of citrus and light malt. Medium carbonation and decent mouth feel. Taste is pine and grass with a good malty back bone. I think this bottle isn’t as fresh as it could be as I remember having better cans before. Not very bitter finish

Had this at a craft bar in Kaptol centar (Capitol Centre) in Zagreb, while sitting there with Višnja 666. Murky amber, lasting off-white head. Aroma is orange, biscuit, honey and tropical fruits. Bitter at first, not a strong kick, sweetish, aromatic. Medium body, soft carbonation, drinkable, a bit to light, you don’t feel the alcohol. An example how you do it!

Slightly hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma has resiny hops and caramel malt. Taste starts slightly sweet and malty with some ripe orange flavor but gets quickly overwhelmed by resiny, earthy hops with grapefruit bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. A very classic but well made IPA.

12 oz bottle - bottled Jan 28, ’16. Caramel color, frothy head. Big fruity hop aroma, typical Centennial hops. Astonishingly thick and creamy mouthfeel for a standard IPA, lasting bitter-sweet finish. Awesome beer.

BOTTLE 12 OZ. BB July 2016. Almost clear copper, beige head. Strong malts and caramel in the nose, along with a decent amount of fresh tropical fruit and some pine. Classic taste - a solid malt backbone, pungent citrus hops anda smooth bitter finish. A bit too heavy on malts, but nevertheless a quality brew.

A deep amber medium-bodied ale, with plenty of spicy hops. There is an unfortunate metal note in the aroma, but it has a good flavour. The taste is somewhat dry and rather bitter, especially during the finish. This sample is far from fresh, so I can only imagine how good a newly brewed one would be. It will get a new rating when I find one.

Look: clear amber with unstable white head. Aroma: pine spruce, grapefruit peel, sweet white grape. Taste: light to moderate sweetness with moderate bitterness. Flavour: apricote jam, flowers, caramel, tropical fruits, pine, spicy herbs. Finish is more hoppy and bitter, than sweet. Not very bitter hovewer. Good and balanced.

Flaska från SB. Mörkorange, mahognyfärgad med krämbeiget tjockt skum som lämnar en del rester på kanterna. Granskott, kåda, kola, torkad frukt. Malttung i doften. Stor kropp, bubblig. Inledande stor beska, något klibbig. Liknande i smaken. Tyvärr inte så färsk som jag druckit den innan, men ett säkert kort när det kommer till IPA hursom.
