Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Bottle. Pours a hazy Bronze Colour. Taste. that of sweet citrus fruits Overall. A very good IPA, normally i wouldn’t criticize the bitterness of an IPA, but i feel as though it could be a little less bitter, none the less a great beer and definitely one of the better ones i’ve tried.

Light coppery color with an off white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of resin hops, light caramel and good maltiness. Flavor has a strong bitterness, with a high presence of malts. Strong biitterness in the final with an astringent mouthfeel.

Bottled 09/03/15, drunk on 11/11/15. Poured into pint glass. Orange in color, with a floral citrus scent. Very balanced flavor profile, bright hoppiness yet sweet, with malty undertones. The head is nice and the feel pleasant on the tongue. Finishes clean & not too bitter. Overall the Centennial is a great example of an American IPA.

Denne IPA har et uklart, men gyldent udseende med et medium hvidt skum. Øllen har en sød og frisk aroma. Smagmæssigt er øllen sød og frisk, med noter af sød karamel. Medium karbonering.

Bottle pours orange color with persistent white foamy head. Hoppy nose, sweet malty body from entry to middle to finish. Overall, I really like this style: seems to combine the best of west coast/east coast attributes.

Bottle. Large bobbly white head that mostly lasted. Cloudy light amber color. Aroma of citrus, fruit, grain, floral and some malt. Medium bodied with light dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with some counter sweetness. Lingering dry bitter finish.

Can - pours a copper cinnamon amber type color with a fluffy toasted marshmallow colored head that slowly recedes. Aroma is well balanced with citrus hop and bready malts. Flavor is a mixture of bitter citrus based hops and caramel malts woven amongst subtle hints of earth, floral and tropical notes. Well done

Grapefruit peel, pine, sweet caramel, candylike aroma. Copper brown with off white head. Very smooth and refreshing, balanced well in all aspects, carbonation, malt backbone and hops. Nice bite at the end, very subtle.

355ml bottle from Beerhawk. Thin white head, good lacing. Clear amber body. Big tropical fruit nose, stone fruit, caramel, burnt sugar. Flavour is stone fruit, grapefruit, burnt toffee finish. Lasting grassy bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium carbonation, good thick body, prickles on the tongue. Marvellous.
