Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Really good. Exactly what you're looking for in an IPA. Not as hoppy as I usually like but a really good mix of the hops and citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark golden beer with a strong foamy white head. The aroma is well hopped with some floral elements, the flavour has a heavy degree of hops, bitterness and dryness. Overall a nice IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear orange/bronze body with a tall steady head. Aroma has nice American hops with freshly cut grass and pine resin. Wonderful balance - there’s both sweetness and bitterness and they really support each other. Alcohol is well covered. This is immensely drinkable.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2014 This beer deserves silence while drinking. One of the longest and best ever aftertastes. God Save America! I can only complain on a label. It is like non-promising product, by design. Some bad cartoon!

35 cl bottle at a bar, 7.2%, 65 IBU, 4.50€. Nice dark amber color and thick offwhite head. Classic IPA smell on the nose. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel malts and a nice load of american floral hops, some fruity esters too. Taste is well balanced, long bitter finish. A very good and solid IPA.

35,5cl can from Systembolate, Strömstad. Pours slightly hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Quite intensive hoppy aroma with pine, citrus, tropical fruits, caramel and hints grass and herbs. Fairly sweet with nice hoppy and fruity flavours and a somewhat dry, and quite bitter finish with citrusy notes. Bitter aftertaste with notes of grapefruit. Medium to full body with carbonation slightly on the soft side. Not the freshest IPA, but certainly a decent one anyway. Would love to try it fresh some day.

Dark gold and capped with a lacy white foam, the brew is giving off a monster aroma of hops; dank and heady. The first sip is a medium-bodied, rich, deep pine resin; it travels the sides of my tongue with a jaw-popping bitter and wrapping underneath to create a mouth-watering experience. I wish more IPAs were dry-hopped, because the flavor is so much more true to the actual plant. This is bitter, but buoyed with malt; balanced enough to take the bitter to an enjoyable spot, but without taking away the nature of the hops. Liking it a lot. I believe it could be a bit fresher, and am starting to believe that it’s true that two months should be the limit on any IPA, but four months out is not taking away the beauty of this beer. The palate is dry, the finish short and the lacing on the glass is visually appealing and consistent on the glass. If Founders was in the area, this may be a favorite go-to for me!

First time drinking a Founders beer because Founders beers are not available in Maryland. Delicious! Bottled on 10/29/2014. A solid IPA.
