COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

In the nose there is grass and floral notes, bits of citrus and resin cling. Pours a dark amber mildly carbonated, a light head stays a while after the pour, from bottle marked 11/11/14. Well balanced flavor distinguishes this, my first brew from founders.

Very good IPA, with solid aroma and great hoppy flavor. Not too much of a blunt assault of hops either, but more complex. Very drinkable.

355ml bottle from Tartu, hazy orange colour, small frothy mostly lasting off-white head, fair lacing. Moderately malty aroma of hay and caramel with some bread and heavy hops with notes of grapefruit, flowers, herbs and pepper with a hint of fruitiness form yeast. Taste is initially slightly sweet and moderately bitter, turning into a heavily bitter long finish with a heavily astigent feel. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Very leasant and complex IPA with enough malt to back up the generous amount of hops.

Cooper with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel, molasses, passion fruit and orange, witn some floral notes. Taste is caramel, yellow fruits, pine, citric and some unbalanced alcoholic notes. Bitter aftertaste (resinous). I expected more for this one...

In bottiglia. Colore arancio brillante, limpida, schiuma fine e persistente. Aroma di frutta, fiori di campo e caramello. Al palato corpo medio, gasatura non eccessvia. Sentori di caramello molto dolci, anche troppo, luppolatura che regala note di marmellata di frutta, non molto eleganti ed un finale secco.
