Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Can’t believe I haven’t rated this beer before. From the bottle, pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is strong citrus and floral hops. Nice malt balance making it a fine IPA. Good grapefruit flavor.

Light orange colour with a sticky off.white head. Some spiderwebby lazings on the glass. Aroma is sweet hops, tropical fruit and light malt. Flavour is sweet but hoppy with notes of tangerine and passion fruit. Ends on a fairly bitter and fruity note. Body is medium with fairly low carbonation. ok.

Founder’s brews my favorite porter and imperial stout, so I expect everything they produce to be excellent. The Centennial IPA is very good, thought not my favorite IPA. This IPA has one of the nicest aromas around and a great taste to boot.

Bottle. Poured a orangish yellow color with a little white head that went rather quickly. Left lacing on the side of the glass as it went. Aroma was pine, grass, and spruce. Flavor was bitter. Hops, citrus, and pine. Very dry finish. A great ipa.

Tap at Dirty Truth in N- Hampton . Copper hue with white head . Smells of lean hops. Flavor of moderate bitter hops with a malty backdrop. Finish is well balanced. Solid brew and easy to drink.

Bottle. Dark amber, creamy off-white head. Really hoppy aroma andt with a clean mouthfeel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle@Home. Light fruity and very grassy aroma. Light amber colour, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, very bitter, light fruity, very grassy, loads of hops. Sticky, dry finish, alcoholic. Too grassy and hoppy in my opinion. This makes the beer tough to enjoy.

Bottled 355ml. Great hop profile of Centennial. Hop resin and grapefruit showing up in both nose and taste. Good bitterness. Wonderful long dry bitter finish which makes you eager to drink more. A really good IPA.

Overall, an above average IPA, but to me this one wasn’t quite hoppy enough. Pours out golden and the aroma is of citrus and hops. Flavor is same as the aroma, but as I already said, I felt like it was a bit lacking.
