COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

12 oz. bottle pours a clear ruby-amber with tightly packed head that leaves sparse lacing. Aroma is strong of pine right out of the bottle, but eases into florals and popcorn as it airs. Front palate is of sweet hay with spices - nutmeg? middle is doughy with a warm maltiness and a smooth finish of citrus with a hot, hoppy aftertaste. Not too bitter and definitely easy to drink. With a nice smooth finish, this could easily be a nice session if the ABV were lower. Nicely paired with Caribbean beef and chicken kabobs on the grill.

Bottle. Orange golden pour. Nice aroma of peach, citric fruit, bitter grassy hop and some malt. Fresh taste of mild pine, resinous hop, citrus, caramel and spice. Good one.

Dak yellow with a tiny white foam ring. Tropical fruit punch all the way. Some pine notes. Slighly sweet. Creamy, perfect carbonation, medium to low body. Highly drinkable

Pours amber-orange with a moderate frothy white head. Smells strongly of fresh pine hops. Taste is sweet, faintly spicy, with a little mild pleasant bitterness that hangs around.

Interesting. A lot of big talk on the can. I didn't feel it really lived up to it. It was extremely hoppy and aromatic, almost too much, and tasted like a much stronger beer than it was. It was however significantly improved when poured into a tulip glass, which smoothed it a lot. Overall, quite good but not an amazing beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jan. ’16. A 0.355 l bottle that poured hazy copper body with medium sized head. Quite malty aroma, sugar, caramel, biscuit, yeasty, then herbal and orange hoppy. Flavor was quite bitter, strong herbal, pine and grapefruit hops with biscuit and caramel malt which wasn’t shy either. I like IPAs that way. Full bodied with long bittersweet, smooth finish. A very nice, tasty and extremely balanced IPA.

Pretty good IPA. Excellent hop pressence, in aroma and in taste. Pretty dry and sweet. Overall, a good example of the genre.

35cl bottle. Clear amber pour with a thin off-white head. Grapefruit, lemon zest, a hint of pine and some caramel, behind a harsh green hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a soft-ish texture and a bitter-sweet caramel and hops aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber red with a fading off white bubbly head. Aroma is of grapefruit, citrus, caramel, resinous pine. Taste is of grapefruit, caramel, pine, long bitter finish. Sticky oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
