tbag5557 (14), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA May 7, 2008 Quaint, but pleasing aroma. Slightly cloudy appearence, with nice deep amber color. Flavor also a bit thin but utterly satisfying. One for the masses to enjoy.
kieleszd (63), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jul 6, 2008 Excellent IPA. Fufilling bitter with grand tatse. Benchmark for Founders. Only Rogue and Dogfishhead can challenge Founders when it comes to pale ales. I don’t know where they find their hops but they are to live for. badbeer (357), Iowa, USA Jul 5, 2008 Nice amber color with a white head that slowly falls but still sticks around and leaves nice rings of lacing around the glass. Good caramel backbone mixed with earthy and citric hops in the nose. Smell was very good, it just didn’t jump right out at me. Earthy hops with caramel to balance it off, then a soft citric bitterness sets in for the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied. Damn good mouthfeel, maybe a little stickier or heavy and it’d be perfect for me. Doesn’t get much better than this, a damn fine brew. I’ll be picking this up again. GuilTTy (436), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bottle from Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Clear copper pour supporting a medium khaki head. Smells like a West Coast piney IPA forest. Citrusy flavor with some taosted malt, toffee and earthy hops. Crisp dry finish and silky mouthfeel with just enough light carbonation. Well balanced IPA. Beerman6686 (504), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 4, 2008 Poured an orange hue with an off white head. Aroma was of lots of centennial hops, hence the name. Flavor was very citrusy, and a little floral with a small malty background. jeremytoni (526), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Jul 3, 2008 From the tap poured a nice amber color with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a quick finish.
