COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.

12oz bottle. Pours pinkish orange/brown with medium white head. Aroma is very malty with touch of fruity tartness - hints of berries and cherries. Flavor is a fantastic blend of tart cherry and bready sweet malts. Wow! Finish has a touch of tartness with fruity esters and a wave of malts with a subtle residual sweetness. Mouthfeel is full bodied and thick with a tickle from moderately soft carbonation. Overall a really fantastic fruit beer.

Pours a hazy peach color with a thin tan head. Aroma is fruity, cherry, tart, and a touch of funk. Flavor is fruity, cherry, tart, and some funk.

Red/amber pour, with white, slightly pink head. Mostly just cherries in the flavor, but not too artificial, so it’s not that bad. Also some sweet malt, floral, and slightly tart. Decent I guess for a sweet fruit beer.

Bottle. Pours an orange color with some red/pinkish notes and a off-white/pinkish head. Aroma is mostly of tart cherries, but with some sweet malt aswell. Flavor is of cherries with some tartness, sweet malts and maybe even dough. The body is light to medium and the carbonation is quite effervescent. Overall a solid refreshing summer beer, but deffinetly not the best Founders has got to offer.

Bottle at Esquire in Champaign, IL. Pours cloudy white amber with some pinkish hues and a dissipating pale white pink head. Tart cherry aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of pale wheat malts and cherries with some acidity on the finish. Very boring and a rather underwhelming effort from a great brewery.

Bottle, tfs Vaiz! Amber orange, some pink, slight haze, tiny head. Aroma is subtle fruit. Flavour is mildly sour of fruit with loads of cherry, like drinking cherrie pie. Not too sweet, not too sour, nice.

Bottle at tasting. Hazy pink pour, no head. Aroma is mostly absent, some cherries. Flavor is cherries and cheesecake, some bread. Quite natural flavor, nice. Low carbonation, watery texture.
