COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.

Bottle from Crown Liquors #6 (Aged 1 year) - Pours a coppery pink with wispy white head. Aroma is tart cherry. Taste is maraschino cherries and some bready malt. The combination reminds me of a cherry cobbler. Moutfeel is light and soft. I didn’t care for this beer at all when it was fresh, but it has aged surprisingly well.

bottle. pours a light orange / ruby with a small white head... slight cherry aromas with a touch of spice... medium to full body filled with tart cherries... very round body... almost like there is a cherry in your mouth... sweet finish with a bit of tartness towards the very back... this tartness lingers after the finish and rounds the sweetness out... nice fruit beer... not over the top and very drinkable.

If you like cherries, you’ll love this. If not, avoid. Has almost a cinnamon and cherry taste to it with a tangy aftertaste.

On tap, poured deep red with fluffy white head. Aroma is cherries, and more cherries. Taste is a tiny bit of tart cherries up front leading into the sweet cherry flavor and finishing sweet. Good start, but ended up way too sweet.

Pinkish color w/ a quickly diminishing head. Nose reminds me of what we used to call children’s champaign as a kid, basically sparking grape juice. It is pretty much a dead ringer for the stuff actually, very intense white grape aroma and not much else. Light bodied w/ surprisingly mild carbonation (I would have expected it to be more effervescent). Mild cinnamon spicy quality which works really nicely and a twinge of earthy bitterness that I could do w/o. Pretty nice beer though, light and fruity and somewhat simple but so much better than a typical fruit flavored American beer as to be in a different class entirely.
