COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and cherries. The flavor is sweet combined with a light acidity and with notes of malt, straw, and cherries.

about 33cl bottle at home. clear redl, small white smooth head. aroma of fresh but sugary cherry jam. also faint "beer" aroma. flavor is faint beer , cherries, faint wooden notes?, a little fruity bitterness towards the end. overall i much prefer the sour beers with fruit flavors, this one too sweet and not really sour (probably not intended so anyway).

Sampled at Oct Houston RB tasting thanks to Cavie. Grapefruit color and very clear and carbonated. Nose is tart and tangy. Taste is peppery, honey, cherries. Light and flavorful and would make a good summer beer.

[Bottle] Pours a ruby red color without much head. Aroma of cherry juice and some vanilla as well. Taste is predominantly cherry, with some light oak and almond notes. Quite sweet. Not too complex or tart. High carbonation level. Easy to drink, but needs a little bit more going on to be an interesting beer.

There is a clear separation of color from dark red to light orange since it was poured into a carling glass with a dimple at the bottom. The nose is weak some cherry syrup and champagne like. The flavor is sweet and full of cherry. The after taste is very tart but full of carbonation.

Pours from the bottle a deep pink/red color with a bright pink head that fades down fast. If someone were to just give me a glass, I would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and Cherry 7-Up by the looks alone. Aroma has a modest cherry note and a very light clean malt presence. Flavor is a pungent cherry flavor that mimics the thick red cherry pie filling syrup to a "T". Sweetness lingers in your mouth for a long time afterword with the flavor carried on the moderate body and slippery texture of the beer. Overall a good brew but the sweetness is so high that it really is a one a night brew.
