3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Iphonephan (1212) - Virginia, USA - NOV 19, 2012
From a bottle at home. Pours an opaque dark pink with a white head. Muted cherry aroma. Crisp, proseco-like mouthfeel. Refreshing tart cherry flavor, but not overwhelming. Nice balance. Nice beer.

Good cherry beer. Dark cherry red with lingering pink foamy head. As it warms up it improves, nice fresh, tart cherry up front followed by a balancing sweetness. Could even reduce the sweetness more and I think I’d like it even better. But quite good.

Rosey brown in the glass with two fingers of rocky pink foam. Aroma of ripe, tart cherry. Very fruit-forward without being too sweet. The cherry flavor is well-rounded and complimented by a slightly biscuity, sweet, light malt profile. Gives this beer a crisp finish. This drinks like a cross between a traditional lambic and an American fruit beer like Abita Strawberry. Very approachable and very easy to drink. Highly recommended for people who hate beers that taste like beer - the Lindemans Framboise crowd, for instance.

Poured a ruby red color. Smelled strangely of cinnamon. Has a nice sweetness to balance the tart. I’d like more tart though. Reminds me of cherry pie.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 sheep (93) - FINLAND - NOV 10, 2012
355ml bottle, bottled 06/06/12. Hazy reddish mahogany with a small, light pink head. Recedes pretty quick and leaves lace. Aroma is sweet cherries and some malty, almost nutty notes. A little musty. Taste is cherries, grain and biscuit with a slightly tart yet sweet finish. Light and prickly on the palate, good carbonation, refreshing.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 CLevar (373) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle to Snifter. Slightly muddy dark pink pour, with a white head that fades rather quickly but leaves some nice looking lacing. Aroma is big cherry pie, and not much else. Taste is much the same, sticky sweet cherry pie filling, slight graham cracker backbone in there as well that really emphasizes the cherry pie character of this one. Finishes slightly more tart than the flavor would let on. Nice beer.

On tap at 1839 Taphouse. Pours an amber reddish color with white head. Sweet, tart cherry aroma. Flavor is strongly cherry pie filling. Very nice cherry beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rando7 (609) - Iowa, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Bottle pours fairly clear red with pinkish head. Aroma sour cherries. Taste sweet/tart cherries nicely balanced without a Jolly Rancher taste. Alcohol not apparent. Palate creamy, coats the tongue with a little carbonation tingle. Finish mainly a continuation of the cherry tartness.
I’m not a big fruit beer guy but this is pretty good and very drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ebone1988 (113) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Aroma is tart cherries, malt, a little booze. Appearance is a beautiful blood red, half-finger light pink head. Taste is cherry forward, but very malty and finishes weak, the aftertaste is just like eating a bunch of cherries. The mouthfeel is light, the flavor doesn’t stick around long. Overall, this is my first fruit beer, and I had been avoiding them for this reason. It’s definitely not a horrible flavor, but I don’t think I would buy it again. If it was bought for me, I wouldn’t turn it away.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jjgmd (734) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Pours a dark red color with no head, Nose is fruity and sweet. Taste is fruiyt, but not overwhelming so, and very drinkable, Surprise ay the ABV, tasted more like a weak cherry cider. Carbonation very soft, not a fruit beer lover, but leave it to Founders to come up with the right tolerable mix. Quaff Score 7 / 10
