COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Youíll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.

Reddish color with a malty, cherry-dominant aroma. Flavor is cherry-centric with lots of malt and some light wheat. Iíll call this a better than average chick beer.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2011 Draft at Jerryís. Pale rose-amber with light, creamy white head / Light, sweet nose of cherry juice / Medium body, soft, fat carbonation, sweet and somewhat syrupy, with good, smooth, finish / Flavors of fresh cherry juice , cream, and cedar / Somewhat simple, maybe Iím expecting a lambic.

Bottle. Pours a light pink with an even paler pink head. Aromas are very weak... Iím not even picking up cherries at this point. Flavor is pleasant enough... kind of a pie cherry spritzer type deal.

Pale pink color. Modest cherry aroma, but definite cherry taste. Light hop bitterness. Iím not fond of fruit beers, but think that this is a good example of the style.

Pours a reddish color with a small white head. Aroma mostly of cherry and a light tartness that barely tickles the tongue. Not much malt coming through at all but it is a fruit beer. Very good cherry flavor. I like this stuff. If it was just a little cheaper I would drink it frequently.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2012 Bottle split with Pwn3d, DA, and Taftini. Pours bright red. Aroma is tart cherry. Taste is tart, thin body, but delightful.. haha. :::: second try::::: draft at Caponeís with pat. Pours a slightly hazy red body. Aroma is sour cherry and tart. Mouthfeel is thin but the flavor does more than enough to make up for it - delicious cherry tart. RERATE : every time I retry this the cherry is less and less present, and instead I get more of a grainy, lager taste.

12oz bottle. Pours hazy pink with a thinnish white head, good lace. Smells surprisingly malty with a good amount of cherry cough syrup, not as bad as youíd think. Tastes malty with a good bit of cherry. Pretty good balance, not bad. Light body, somewhat syrupy, good carbonation.

Pours blood orange into a tumbler. White head quickly recedes to mottle surface. Little aroma - light malt and cherry. Full cherry upfront turning sweet and sour in the lasting finish.

Bottle. Pink pour with a white head. Very soft and subtle all over. Cherry, seltzer, very mild sweetness. Light tartness.

Very strange but in a good way. Pours red with a very thin layer of foam. Not much of an aroma at least not what I was expecting. I didnít get any cherries in the smell. Flavor is where you find the cherries. Very tart and warming. Pretty dry finish. Nice.
