COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium reddish/pinkish color with an average sized, frothy, pinkish head. Aromas of cherries. Tastes of cherries, cherry pie, pie crust, and bready. On the sweeter side with a lighter tart, cherry finish (but definitely leans towards the sweeter side). Pinkish lacing left on the glasss.

A pinkish blonde ale with a thick froathing lacing white head. A rather strong butterscotch covering the cherries in aroma. In mouth, a cherry liqueur with nice cherry skins, a bit buttery and cloying. Lighter than expected. On tap at the Small Bar on Division, May 16 2009.

Slight pink-tinted pour. The nose has a touch of bright cherry aroma along with a touch of lemon peel tartness as well. Quite tart and fruity flavoured with a little bit of malty sweetness as well... I wasn’t expecting that based on the aroma. Sort of juicy with a touch of bubble gum as well as an almost concord grape character. Kind of odd, but I can see the appeal.

Pours a hazy ruby red with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet and tart cherries with a hint of cinnamon. Body starts with good fullness and sweet pale malts along with an assertive cherry pie filling flavor and fruity tartness toward the finish. A pretty-well balanced and enjoyable fruit beer.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazed pink body and no head, but a slight, white ring. Aroma of sweet cherries and wheat with a touch of cherry syrup. Taste is slightly bitter cherry pie filling. Not bad. Light carbonation and dryish mouthfeel.

Pinky red, a few sinky bits. Gentle cherry aroma, but fairly low profile. Gently bitter black cherries, a touch of almond. Some xmas spices. Covers 6.5% well.

Draft at Craft. Pours hazy ruby copepry with white head. Nose is crisp clean cherries, very much like cherry pie, with flavors of freshly picked cherries, raspberries, and a mild earthy finish. Not particularly palate hefty, but very fresh tasting and enjoyable.
