Pours a bright red color with light, white head. Aroma of tart cherries, light sweetness. Flavor is delicate and startlingly complex. Sweet cherries, some light malt with a tart finish. Not quite sour territory, but still makes my mouth water. The cherries are never artificial or cloying. Light mouthfeel, lively carbonation and no alcohol, this beer is definitely one of the best fruit beers you’ll ever have.

Bottle consumed in Spring 2009. Review input from notes.
Pours a reddish-pink mixed with a wee bit of brown. The aroma is that of tart cherries with hints of sweetness. The taste brings out even more cherry flavor, coming full on at your palate. There is a slight tartness to it as well. Medium bodied and quite drinkable, a fantastic fruit beer.

Cherries (good ones) and rose petals. Some musty qualities come through.
The appearance is beautiful rose-colored cloudiness. Nice but short-lived head.
The first flavor is very sour cherries, with a second wave of dry musty nutmeg. There is a horseblanket character. Touch of white wine. A little sour, puckery bite at the end.
The palate is silky and slick, with a nice, creamy thickness. It’s a good, sour, horsey beer. The cherry here is not cloying, but well-balanced.

Aromàticament espectacular. Cervesa fina i elegant. Potser li falta un xic de carbònic i un punt més d’acidesa per criticar alguna cosa. Molt bona.

Nice sour cherry flavors. This does not lead to cloying, or single note flavors in the mouth. Excellent complexity and a fuller body than I expected. Long, long finish.

Draft @ Founders: Pour is a bright red with a nice pink head. This could be summed up as a toned-down version of Belgian Red. Really quite good.

Had at Capone’s in a flight. Pour was a deep red amber. Little head. Aroma was cherries. Slightly tart. Flavor started sweet and ended with a nice sour finish. Katie likes this one as well.

Draft at Birreria Paradiso. Bright pink-red, big fluffy head. Low carbonation. Smooth cherry, juice-like, watery. Very pleasant cherry aftertaste. Distant hint of bitterness, a touch of crispness buried somewhere in there. Very easy drinking, a little lacking in complexity.

Great aroma.....light notes of fresh Michigan cherries. Flavor is full of delicious cherries all the way through. Most fruit beers, especially cherry, taste syrupy and artificial, but this captures the fresh ripe flavor of a Michigan cherry.
