3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours cranberry red, with pinkish head. Very little aroma, but some cherry notes. Taste of cherries and biscuit, more sweet cherries than sour, with a slight sour aftertaste. Overall, OK, I wouldn’t buy again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Transfer from BA review on 8-15-12-
Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass
Appearance –The beer has a vibrant hazy pinkish-red color with a just off white head. The head fades quite quickly to leave a very light level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is not as heavy in cherry as I would have expected from the look. It has a light cherry aroma with heavier sweet smells of a sugary/candy nature as well as smells of grain.
Taste – The taste begins of a sweet cherry taste mixed with some malt base. As the flavor advances however the sweetness of the cherry begins to fade some and sour and tart notes come to the tongue. The maltiness however at the end seems to be accentuated and balances out the more sour flavors of cherry to leave a mellow candy semi-sweet taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was rather moderate with the carbonation level being very average. Both fitting for the sweet and sour fruit tastes of the beer.
Overall – It is a refreshing and easy drinking beer and although a bit sweet, it is quite nice. If a fruit beer is something you are craving, then I say go for this one, as it is rather nice.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour is a dark blood red with a head that has a pink hue. Nose is cherries, green vegetables, and stale cereal. Taste is a bit stronger cherry, gets a touch medicinal. Finish is slightly tart, a big syrupy body and moderate carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle served in pint glass. (From Jan. 2011 notes). Some sediment in bottom of bottle added to last 1/3 of sample - sediment improved flavor.
Pours a clear golden tone with a tinge of pink/red and a modeast off-white head.
Very nice fruity (cherry) aroma. Smells like real cherry juice; not artificial. Malt backbone in background.
Nice sweet/tart balance with a low level (IBU = 15) bitterness. Excellent flavor but too mild and not quite as tart as I’d like. On the other hand, the aftertaste is mainly a fruity (generic) sourness.
M - medium/light body with little carbonation

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy red with small pink head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is cherry skin, oak, and grain. Thin mouthfeel with light tart cherry and wheat with light tart finish, decent.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes. Bottled 05/24/2012. Consumed 07/22/12.
Into a pint glass (also a snifter, nothing changed).
The appearance has a hazy strawberry red body that is too cloudy to see any carbonation. A small white head mushroom capped and turned into the body within ten seconds.
The smell has some cherry and alcohol up front with some grains and malts very lightly in the background.
The taste, well this really gets me kinda the wrong way: its way tart and sweet through the cherry combining with the malts, reminds me a bit of cherry pie once I noticed how the malts combined.
The palate sits about a light to medium with slight carbonation felt on the tongue.
Overall, well, I never had a cherry pie for a beer, but with the alcohol smell I can tell its a beer. Two more, I probably will be able to finish, but will probably not buy this again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Found this beer during a reorganization of my beer fridge. Liked it. Didn’t love it. Pours red with a hint of tan. Big bubbly head that quickly dissipated. Scent is fruity and similar to a lambicus. Flavor tastes like a lambic with a touch of ale poured into. Has that lively mouthfeel I am partial to. Bottle - Source Unknown

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Just realized I’ve never rated this. Rating from memory since I’ve had this many times. Pours ruby red with a small fizzy head. Aroma is sweet cherry juice with just a small hint of grain. Taste is a bit overpowering with the cherries. I always start off liking it but get tired of it by the time I finish the bottle. Gets very astringent when it warms. Can be enjoyable if it’s ice cold.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle: Chill hazed ruby red color with a dingy hint of orange in the center; lavender & pink tinted head fizzles out, resting quietly on top as a thin collar. Aroma is very wildberry smoothie-like with a strong cherry presence all around. Unfortunately, I find the cherry aspect to be quite artificial, medicinal, & almost chalky. Taste is pretty much the same way... Mildly tart cherry up front, fading into a sweet mid-palate & finish with chalky, medicinal, & overly sweet artificial notes. Aftertaste reminds me of a cherry flavored Flintstone’s vitamin. Slightly astringent, too. This is definitely a miss for me... I blended this with Breakfast Stout once, & much preferred the mixture versus Cerise by itself.
