No head at all, none. Reddish gold appearance, smells like fermented cherries (duh?). Whoever said it smelled like a cherry pie... come on, dude. Tastes of carbonated cherry juice. Some may dislike this, but the fact that the alcohol is coveredup sowell is nice. Sweet and tart, like drinking dessert. Rather sticky, decent carbonation, the tartness lingers. I like this, seal of approval.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2010 Like cherry juice that is carbonated, pours extremely red with fluffy white head. Not bad, but not a fan of beer like this.

This beer smells like a cherry pie and looks like red Kool-Aid. The taste is almost too cherry heavy, but it was certainly manageable. The color is great and left a slightly sour/tart taste in the mouth, which worked great with the burger I was eating but tasted not so good with onion rings. I would recommend it to others but it’s not an everyday beer. You might get diabetes from it.

I had this at Founders Fest 2009 with my friend BeerBaron617. I can’t really see why it has such a low score on RB, maybe just because there are so few ratings at the moment. I must say that I like this beer a lot. It was a pretty pinky red color with a whitish head. It clearly had the aroma of cherries, as well as taste, and it was really really sweet. Pretty tasty though. :)

Bottle. Pour was thick and redish with a white fizzy head. Aroma was of strong sweet cherries with a lot of sweet. Flavor was dominated by more sweet cherry, a light wheat flavor, and a semi-dry and lightly tart finish. Overall a tasty brew. Maybe a bit sweet.

On tap at Capones. Poured a medium pinkish/amerish color with a smaller sized pinkish tinged head. Aromas of cherries with some yeastiness. Tastes of cherries with lighter yeastiness. Starts out semi-sweet and ends in a lighter tart finish. Pinkish tinged lacing left on the glass.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2009 I keep getting to try this without actually buying it, i love bringing new people to Founders. Sort of a yeasty looking pour thats bright and springing with cherries. Pretty sweet taste throughout but dies off at the end of a drink which makes you want more. Decent fruit beer, but they have better.

Growler, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing it! Pours a clear rosy-orange with a very bubbly head. Aroma is crisp, of cherry, malt, yeast, hops, and citrus. Taste starts with sweet and sharp malt before picking up tart pie cherries and a hint of citrus. Lingering tart and sweet cherry-malt flavors. Tasty.
