3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Founders. Red cherry syrup body, medium tight white head. Nose of cherries and modest hops; body of cherry (light syrup), sweet with moderate tartness, paired with light bitter grassy hops. Straightforward fruit beer meant to be refreshing and easy to drink.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the ’08 MBG Summerfest. Magenta colored pour. The aroma and flavor were surprisingly dominated by bready, biscuity malt and not an overpowering fruit presence like I expected it would. Spicy cherry pie like finish. Medium to thin body.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
2008 MiBGF: Very red appearance with very good lace, The weak nose has some cherry pit, wheat, and biscuity malt. The taste is fruity cherries of course with a pale malt and even a touch oaky finish. The mouth feel is lively and dry. Better flavor than aroma, standard fruit ale, at least it not cloy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
this was brewed due to the increase in raspberry prices, and may become somewhat of a "substitute" beer for the fruit lovers...pours cherry red with nice carbonation and white head...aroma of tart cherry puree, and its flavor is no let down! very tart and slightly puckering, their cherry ale captures the true essence of a tart cherry. superb for a fruit beer
