Nov 17, 2004 dark brown appearance with the typical creamy, frothy nitro head; aroma and flavor are one in the same (heavy on chocolate, raspberry and coffee); i have to say, founders is a must try for anyone in driving distance; i am always pleased by their beers

Nov 15, 2004 Founders brews a number of nitro-tap stouts that are all pretty similar; this is the latest one. Typical deep chestnut brown body, topped by a dense light tan nitro head. Definite dark chocolate flavors with a raspberry nature, although the raspberries were not overdone or dominant in either the aroma or flavor. Maybe not quite as good as their Cherry Java Stout, but I always look forward to trying new stouts by this brewer.
