On Tap. Pours a dark ruby to black with light brown, dark tan head. Aroma is ripe raspberry and chocolate. Taste is nice blend of toffe, chocolate and rasberry. Great paired with prime rib. Nice winter stout.

Founders brews a number of nitro-tap stouts that are all pretty similar; this is the latest one. Typical deep chestnut brown body, topped by a dense light tan nitro head. Definite dark chocolate flavors with a raspberry nature, although the raspberries were not overdone or dominant in either the aroma or flavor. Maybe not quite as good as their Cherry Java Stout, but I always look forward to trying new stouts by this brewer.
