4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark copper/ruby/brown color with no head to speak of unlees agitated. Crazy aroma of of brandy and bourbon and vanilla and oak an licorice. Very peculiar in a great way. This is a unique brew. Full bodied and sweet. Low carbonation. Slick on the palate and a flavor similiar to whiskey with corn syrup and fruit. Like Makers Mark and canned peaches. I suspect that ageing will change the character of this beer and it will be interesting to open a bottle every six months or so.

Sweet maltiness and syrupy texture in a black as night brew. Very potent stuff. I think the name should be changed to "GET OFF MY LAWN!"

355ml bottle at home. Canít remember where from, but was bottled April 2012. Pours amber, with a surprising amount of black floaters. Given itís been sat in a cupboard for three months I thought any sediment might have settled. Clearly not. Thin ring of white head. Aromas of sticky toffee pudding, marmalade at the back, light booze note. Taste is toffee, nuts, boozy, almost dark sherry. Sweet finish, as expected.

Balanced like a teeter totter with twins on it. I guess.... Itís equal parts really bitter and really sweet.... The word roasty comes to mind... But yep. Good.
