4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 fiulijn (10401) - Como, ITALY - SEP 30, 2009
UPDATED: APR 10, 2011 2010-07-12, 8-5-9-4-17=43 Hazy amber color; small head. The aroma is less interesting than the first time, the flavor is as rich as I remembered: sweet caramel and toffee, strong vanilla; without being thick, the sugars are sticky on the lips; and strong final bitterness, a bit woody.
2009-08-31, bottle at Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, 9-5-9-4-18=45 Red amber color; small creamy head. Extremely rich aroma, malt caramel and vanilla oak. Strong body, rich caramel and malt flavor, perfectioned by the vanilla and the hops. Truly enjoyable.
