Bottle from trade with dra19. Ruby-copper color, thin layer of light tan head. Sweet malts and caramel, pepper, very light alcohol aroma for 13%. Very sweet taste, spicy malts, dark fruit, a slight herbal character. Slightly sour finish, and again, not much alcohol present considering the ABV%.

Bomber from trade a ways back with whom escapes me. I remember being really excited about this and then seeing some low reviews. Pulled it out the cellar and thought it would be a nice way to end the night. Shared with my girlfriend Cyn. Pours reddish brown with a 1 finger tan head. Really nice malty nose. Taste is sweet and malty and robust and the alc is well hidden. Really sticky and sweet and mollasses like. Sort of one dimensional though

bottle at Fort Wayne tasting - Pours dark amber with a thin head. The aroma is of caramel malt and spice with some alcohol. The flavor includes roast caramel malt, dark fruit, and spices among other things. Some alcohol is slightly noticeable in the finish, but for 13% it’s pretty mild. It’s a tasty and complex beer, and just plain really good.

22 oz bottle - fairly cloudy dark amber color with tiny light tan head. Aroma is full of thick chewy malts, loads of roasted caramel, dark fruits with a ton of dates, figs, raisens, fair amount of light oak, hint of cinnamon, cherry, and vanilla. Flavor is extremely malty, lots of highly kilned malts, oak, hints of raisens, vanilla. Finish is fairly sweet. Overall an excellent brew, although it seems more like an old ale than a spice/herb/vegetable.

Amber color beer with a thin beige head. Creamy mouthfeel. Lightly cinnimon spice in the nose with some caramel sweetness. Malty beer with cinnimon, nutmeg, caramel corn and some nuttiness. Really well balanced beer. Very tastey.

Bottle shared by Crosling. Poured a nice amber-garnet color with a thin beige head that diminished immediately. Sweet, malty aroma with some brown sugar and light fruit. Sweet brown sugar and caramel malt, with a slight apricot fruity undertone and a hint of yeastiness and some alcohol heat. Full on the palate, but not cloying. A really nice, different beer. Thanks for sharing Nick.

Bomber. Thanks, CaptainCougar! Pours lightly hazy ruby-brown. Huge malty brown sugar aroma. Full body and light carbonation. The taste is just a nutty malt explosion. Lightly spicy finish.
