COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Founders most complex, most innovative, most feared and yet most revered ale produced. Massive in complexity the huge malt character balances the insane amount of alpha’s used to create this monster. More IBU’s than any brewery has documented, more than you would believe and dry-hopped for twenty-six days straight with a combination of 10 hop varieties. Dangerously drinkable and deliciously evil. We dare you to dance with the Devil. 112 IBUs

Great reddish hued golden, headless, Fruity sweet.... Very hard to believe there are are over 120 IBU here. Cherry aroma, wood, hay, grass, earthy, finishes sweet, very very little in the way of hop expression. No discernible hop aroma or flavor at all.

Crisp, hazy copper and orange coloured body with a bronze glow and a thinnish, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, rich resinous hops, pine, pears and tons of pit fruit and caramel sugars. Full-bodied; Super rich hop flavours at first with a resinous and piney flavour make way to a large malt body and pungent sweet flavour that is very viscous. Aftertaste shows a lot of pineapple, raisins, toffee and caramel and somehow, even more alcohol and body. Overall, a very nice beer of course, but this is way closer to a Barley Wine than an Imperial IPA. Great to sample and definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Tyson’s Corner (Falls Church) on 05-June-2014 for US$5,49 sampled at home in Washington on 21-November-2014.

October 4, 2014. On tap at SBWF. Pours clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, citrus, pine, slight alcohol notes. Taste is medium sweet and lots of dry grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel.

Pours a beautiful reddish amber Color with a nice creamy head. Excellent lacing and head retention. Smells floral and hoppy. Tastes of lavendar and citrus hops. Freaking outstanding! A smooth, delicious drink for a 12%. Loved this!

Au nez, on sent beaucoup le caramel et un peu d'alcool. En bouche, on goûte encore le caramel, une amertume bien présente et assez de grains. La finale est longue, alcoolisée et amère. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The first triple IPA I had though I did have 120 minute. This one is maltier and I don’t like that so much in this one. It tangles with barleywine and strong ale territory. That aside this is great in autumn. Citrus pine toffee resin aromas and flavors. Long warm bittersweet finish. Abv isn’t hidden but no overly apparent either.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Hazy, reddish copper with small khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of pine, toffee, orange and grapefruit. Taste of citric hops (mainly grapefruit and orange), toffee, pine and alcohol. Full body and high/medium carbonization. Very hoppy, but with enough malt and alcohol that it could have just as well been classified as a hoppy barleywine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wow. Great deep red color, small not overly carbonated off white head. Very smooth for it's immensity. Definitely worth trying and added to my favorites! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep reddish copper with small lacing. Nose is caramel, candy lace, very sweet. Taste is candy-like, with some bittering. Nice thick mouthfeel. It’s an interesting brew that’s more like a dessert beer.
