Commercial Description:
Founders most complex, most innovative, most feared and yet most revered ale produced. Massive in complexity the huge malt character balances the insane amount of alpha’s used to create this monster. More IBU’s than any brewery has documented, more than you would believe and dry-hopped for twenty-six days straight with a combination of 10 hop varieties. Dangerously drinkable and deliciously evil. We dare you to dance with the Devil. 112 IBUs

Intriguingly red and glowing in the glass. Just a swirl of head on the surface of the beer. Aromatic hops are fairly gentle, but this smells like a big beer. Indeed, the full punch of hops arrives at the end of the palate: grapefruit, orange, candied lemon peel, sharp grasses and lavender. The finish is long, long, long. On the nose and up front are some fine cinnamon and cocoa malts which lend a lot of balance to the IPA.

Insane hop flavors, tastes like they just added it, alcohol is totally overpowered, and balances really nicely to a bitter finish on the palate. Excellent!

Clear dark amber, little head. Aroma of strong hops and alcohol, packing a punch. Flavor is very strong. Almost too strong. Packing a ton of hops in there.

BOTTLE: reddish/gold pour, ridiculously hoppy but well balanced. Pine. Creamy & smooth - interesting from an IPA. Great hop flavor.

bottle, thankst to alexsdad06, Tmoney99, or shigadeyo. Pours a cloudy amber with a thin white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is heavy with piney hops and sweet malts. Notes of citrus hops, caramel, floral hops, and pineapple jump out. On the palate it is complex and bitter, but still smooth. The flavor brings out the sweet malts a bit more, but the finish has a stong hoppy bite. Wow, what a great beer!

1/2 a shared 12oz. bottle. Pours semi-cloudy, dark orange with slight amber color. Nose is pine forest overload! Heavy malts and citrus, Stong Aroma! Taste is strong, strong piney hops. some well placed alcohol, smooth dark malts, and thick mouthfeel. Finish is smooth burnt malts and floral hops. One sip and you know you’re drinking something special. This one is ideal to share with 2 or more great friends! Definitely a sipper.

Deep copper body under a yellowish head that hangs on. Great lace. Sweet flavors and very bitter finish. Cherry, mint, cilantro, citrus, and lime. Layered, complex flavors. Delicious and intense.
