COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Founders most complex, most innovative, most feared and yet most revered ale produced. Massive in complexity the huge malt character balances the insane amount of alpha’s used to create this monster. More IBU’s than any brewery has documented, more than you would believe and dry-hopped for twenty-six days straight with a combination of 10 hop varieties. Dangerously drinkable and deliciously evil. We dare you to dance with the Devil. 112 IBUs

A beautiful deep reddish amber pours from the glass and looks heavy as the head forms. A thick frothy finger thick head is off beige and has thick bubbles. Really great lacing and some slight alcoholic legs. Really thick caramel and malt notes are the first on the nose and they’re followed quickly by strong booze and hop notes. Marijuana, citrus, and grassy notes are all present. The malt here is really the strongest stand out on the nose. Surprising for a Triple IPA. Lots and lots of roasty caramel and malt on top. Followed closely by burning hops that take a few sips to adjust to. A boozy character in the center takes a moment to shine but really helps the entire beer showcase the hops. Citrus is the strongest hop character along with a slight piney flavor. Thick and heavy in the mouth carried well by a decent amount of carbonation. Great overall. Incredibly thick, rich and flavorful. Although the caramel and malt slightly steal the show. This shouldn’t be considered an IPA but something more akin to a barleywine. A bit pricey but something I look forward to trying year after year.

Bottle, dark amber body with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, sugars, floral and piney hops, and a hint of citrus. Taste is all malts/sugars upfront and then hop bitterness. Long bitter hop finish.

Clear amber with a huge foamy tan white head that hangs with you. Aroma is intense and wonderful caramel malts and dank resin. Taste is... whoa. An onslaught that hits you right away. Very upfront. Booze, bitterness and a caramel malty bed. Very tangy and active on the tongue. Some pine resin and slight citrus and hops. This beer has a bite and is not to be taken lightly.

Pours a deep amber, with a half inch of very dense off-white foam. Aroma is floral and piney with a bit of citrus fruit. Taste is like a highly hopped barleywine -- lots of flavors going on here -- malty sweetness, orange and grapefruit, hops and hops and more hops. Somewhat oily going down, in a good way. Did I mention the hops?

Sampler tap at Giant Eagle in Shadyside, Pittsburgh. This was quite good -- well balanced and not overly hopped qualities makes this quite exceptional. Really liked the creamy finish.

Deep orange-marigold, crystal clear, light tan head. Deep pine resin, intensely floral, light honey. Pretty bitter, good malt backbone. Very heavy, very oily, lots of acid. Long finish. Quite good.

Pours a amber, orangish in certain light. Frothy off-white head, nice lacing. Hops, brown sugar, caramel on the nose. Creamy, slightly oily mouthfeel. Butterscotch, toffee, caramel, resin. This is a great triple IPA. Hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness complement each other.

Pours a vibrant amber with a khaki head with a very slight sage hue. Head retention is ok. AROMA: caramel, candy sugar, hibiscus, slight cinnamon spice, tangerines, floral hops, malty, red wine, mellow peppercorn, light orange zest and boozy. TASTE: herbal hops, sweet citrus, peppercorns, alcohol zing, caramel, malty, earthy, candy sugar, orange zest, spice, pine bitterness and a light sea salt. AFTER TASTE: peppercorns, bitter citrus, alcohol and hop oil spice with an oily feel and boozy warmth. Absolutely great. I would like to thank my friend Zachary from MI for the brews. ????

Just like Batman! WHAM! POW! SMACK!. This is huge! Pours a hazy darker copper with thin and quick to fizzle head. Bottled on 5-5-15. Aroma is boozy and a bit subdued for the onslaught about to happen. Flavor is huge, in you face hops, soy sauce and garlic. The amount of hops used here has to cure some form of cancer! Damn good if you like it bitter and big. Not too sweet. $21 a 4 pack is steep though.definately one of my favorite insane IPAs

I have gotten much pickier w my hop preferences due to such a now overwhelming number of them. This at 12% abv is very high and not subtle. Deep Amber color. Very little hop aroma as far as a smell, but it kicks you in the face right away on the first sip. I feel like the release time just puts me off on this one, its way to heavy for a spring/summer beer. If your at ur pad and u just wanna get muffed, start the night with this one on a rainy day. Burns, heavy, and way to forward on taste, as a winter release it would fare much better.

A real taste of hellfire and damnation, with this ode to the fiery one. Pours up a dark amber, with a red tint; and a nice tan head. A very pretty beer in the glass. Aroma is pine resin esters, some caramel and booze. The taste is malty, sweet and thick with caramel and booze. A heavy hard hitter for sure. You taste, smell, and feel the booze in this one. Full body heavy and thick.
