Tap. Pours brown with a tanish head. Smell of malt. No description of the type of beer this was on the list so I thought it was a weak brown. Pretty nice tame flavor in my opionion.

Pours a dark red almost brown color with a small bold white head.Nose is bready with a hint of toast.Taste is ALL MALT...maybe a little hops on the backend..The mouthfeel is smooth and luscious throughout. The alcohol is masked due to the heavy malts.Pretty good beer. Not my fave from Founders but a pretty good brew.I can see why many people would enjoy this beer.

Appearance is a dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is somewhat sweet, with some licorice. Flavor is malty with that same bittersweet flavor noticeable in the aroma. Finish is smooth with a slight sweetness that sticks to the tongue. Quite pleasant, would definitely recommend.
