A little anise and caramel malts. Slight whiskey or scotch on the palate. Very nice! Damico (162), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 19, 2009 The aroma is strong, like a brown ale with boozy undertones. It is like a thick dark syrup in appearance with red hughes. Tastes delicious from a strong ale perspective in the tradition of a scotch ale. I know people who are scared to drink this style - ask Sean.
