2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: pours with a medium to small beige head, the beer is a very dark clear ruby color,
Aroma: malty, possibly some smoke, sweet, caramel, faint alcohol, some bread, some hops, not overly strong but complex
Taste: malt of course, bread, sweet, molasses, caramel, plum, alcohol
Palate: this stuff is thick in the mouth, high alcohol burn, slight bitter aftertaste, soft carbonation
Overall: not bad but not a beer I’d really seek out, too much alcohol in the taste for me

Pours a rich dark red with a thin smooth beige head. Aroma of dark fruits. Body is refreshingly medium and very smooth in carbonation. Flavour is bitter and creamy malt. Finish is silky and bitter. Easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle. Pours a dark red with minimal tan head. Sweet nose with cherry and a hint of alcohol. Very clean for a Scotch ale with subtle hints of peat and smoke. Big finish with some hops coming through. Seem to get something new with each sip. Very good.

Dark murky amber brown. Minimal tan head. Bourbon, roasty, chocolate, coffee, resin, dough, leather, smoke, woody notes. medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour. Full body, thick feel, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish. WOW first experience with the good old Dirty Bastard. What a beer! Had a great time rating this one! Not my favorite of artwork, but very interesting.
