Founders flagship beer. Dirty Bastard is an absolute beautiful beer to behold. Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. This beer “ain’t fer the wee lads”

Poured a dark amber color from bottle. Not much in aroma, faint smell of bread and spruce. But what it lacks in aroma, it makes up for in taste. Medium amount of sweetness with a perfect balance of hops to finish. A great beer.

Clear red pour with a thin head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is sweet, hints of roast & sugar. Medium mouth. Taste is sugary with some alcohol notes present. Grain and slightly smokey. Leaves a sweet aftertaste that hangs around for a while.

Dark murky amber brown. Minimal tan head. Bourbon, roasty, chocolate, coffee, resin, dough, leather, smoke, woody notes. medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour. Full body, thick feel, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish. WOW first experience with the good old Dirty Bastard. What a beer! Had a great time rating this one! Not my favorite of artwork, but very interesting.

From bottle. Pours a dark red with minimal tan head. Sweet nose with cherry and a hint of alcohol. Very clean for a Scotch ale with subtle hints of peat and smoke. Big finish with some hops coming through. Seem to get something new with each sip. Very good.

Awesome scotch ale.....bought this one because of the name...it is fantastic....chocolate coffee and berries?....somehow there is 8.7% alcohol...but it is hidden very well.

Pours a rich dark red with a thin smooth beige head. Aroma of dark fruits. Body is refreshingly medium and very smooth in carbonation. Flavour is bitter and creamy malt. Finish is silky and bitter. Easy to drink.
