COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Founders flagship beer. Dirty Bastard is an absolute beautiful beer to behold. Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. This beer “ain’t fer the wee lads”

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2007 Received in a bottle from a friend! :) I’ve heard a lot about this local small brewery and finally get to sample one of their beer. Rich, strong aroma. Poured a deep red-brown. Creamy small tan head that remained a very thin cap to the end., Left nice lacing. Rich, robust, slightly smoky flavor with very malty, chocolate. roasted malt and earthy taste. Very full body, thick texture, very soft carbonation with a very nice flavorful finish. This beer is one of the best ones I’ve ever enjoyed. Founders has done a great job with Dirty Bastard. I tried this in a tulip. I will definitely add this to my normal rotation of favorite beer. If you like beer dark, rich, thick and full of great flavor this is the beer for you! To me it is excellent!!

This is one of my favorite Scottish Ales, and they’re my favorite. The aroma is caramely, malty, slightly toasty and slightly alcoholic. It has a wonderful Scotch Ale color. The flavor matches the style while still incorporating hops more than many other Scotch Ales. The palate is smoother though still retains a gritty heaviness. Overall.......YEAH!!! I LOVE IT. GREAT JOB FOUNDERS.

A great scotch ale and pours with little head. Bitterness in the aftertaste with little hint of the alcohol content. Great with food or as an evening treat.

Una cerveza estilo "ale" muy lograda. Muchisima carga de malta, se nota en toda su intensidad. Un gran descubrimiento

Amazing, complicated smell, great red color, redish brown with a nutty colored head. Great bitterish flavor. Of the scotch ales i have tried lately, this one is the top for me. Amazing.

Bottle. Pours dark ruby with thin head. Aroma of berries. Strong alcohol sweeps into the nostrils upon first sip. Taste of malt and some licorice. Smoke evident. Delicious offering and another winner from Founders.
