Founders flagship beer. Dirty Bastard is an absolute beautiful beer to behold. Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. This beer “ain’t fer the wee lads”

Dark murky amber brown. Minimal tan head. Bourbon, roasty, chocolate, coffee, resin, dough, leather, smoke, woody notes. medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour. Full body, thick feel, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish. WOW first experience with the good old Dirty Bastard. What a beer! Had a great time rating this one! Not my favorite of artwork, but very interesting.

This beer is surprisingly FANTASTIC! Aroma is of sweet burnt caramel with a hint of toffee. Appearance is a reddish/tan color, with a creamy tan thick head that makes me want to guzzle this beer. The taste is absolutely delicious and has a butterscotch caramel coffee taste that is smooth as he** for a scotch ale. Overall, it’s great.. It is a thick, syruppy, caramel, sweet beer that is pleasing to drink. I didn’t think I would like this big beer, because I am normally not a fan of strong big ales.. But this is really good. A must try..

This is really everything i want in a beer. Malty, yet has just enough crispness not to weigh it down. And a nice gorgeous color. I’d drink this all night, if I could keep from falling off the barstool.

A magical scotch bag of raisinets. A beautiful opaque dark ruby in the light, pours with a small head and some lacing. Smells sweet and peat. Tastes like the aforementioned sweeties with so much grown-up behind it. Just a touch of smoke, plenty of toffee, choccy and fruit along with the perfect bitterness that never lets on about the 50ibus and just the tiniest hint of the 8.5%. A session beer that will end your session well early. Hot contender for my favourite beer from an almost flawless brewery. Git in ma baelly wee man.

Excellent beer with a malty, caramel aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Pours a dark redish-brown with a light brown head. The taste has all the components of the smell, but with added notes of scotch and soil. Delicious!

Very nice ruby color with a creamy head. Aroma is caramel, malt, spice, dark fruit, smoke. Flavor is nicely hoppy, with complex flavors following the aroma. really like this.

Love this one. Very beautiful red-caramel color in glass with beige head. Aroma of caramel and maybe cherry or fig. Tastes like malt, burnt caramel. Very drinkable. A favorite and staple in our house.

Bottle 0,35L. Clear, dark amber/red colour with average big, frothy, light brown, long lasting head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and some dry fruits. Taste starts moderate bitter with dry fruits on tongue and finish heavy bitter and slightlysmoked. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Another excellent Founders brew!
