Pours a clear yellow color with a white rim head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Flavor is complex with pine, grapefruit, hops amalgamated wonderfully. So well-balanced! No alcohol edge noticeable. Very well done!

Hazy yellow. Modest lacing and head. Malty nose and some pine. Palate is multifaceted, sticky, chewy, dry but nice biscuity notes and some bubblegum. Good stuff, 1st founders beer will start looking for more!

A lot of citrus and pine in the nose. Surprisingly thick palate, chewy. Very malty , piney hops. Plenty of citrus, grapefruit hops. The APV was not noticeable in the flavor, but nice and warming on a cold rainy day. Iím starting to be a fan of these Imperial IPAs.

Bottle bought @ the brewpub. Big up to Freddie who brought this all the way over the Atlantic Ocean. TANKS! It pours little hazy yellow to orange. Head is low if not non existing. Aroma is wonderful. Round and complex and has a fantastic hop feel. Smells grape, green aples and grass The palate is soooo god. Round, brings the flavor immediately. Flavor is dominated by the grapy hops. Also sweet malty. Leaves a long pleasent bitternes in the aftertaste. I wich I had moore of this. Unfortunately this is the only one I got.

Pours a hazy orange. No head or lacing with even an aggressive pour. Classic citrus hop smell available in most IPAs. Nothing to write home about. Delicious lemon flavor. Very malty to balance out the hop bitterness. Strong hop finish. Light and crisp mouth feel, yet still had good body.

Whoa. This thing is serious. Intense aromas and flavors of total hops. Lots of hop resin in the flavor and some extreme bitterness. As it warms, it gains a sweeter finish and some more fruity flavors shine through. But the hops are there till the end. Impressive. Yeah Iíll be getting some more of this. Why the hell did I wait so long?

This is just a brilliant IPA. Iím normally not a huge fan of the style, but it is a true classic. Light and hoppy, but still subtle and balanced.

Hazy amber with hops suspended and thin off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, orange and mild alcohol. Taste of grapefruit, orange, crystal malt with mild lemon and alcohol. Has a sort of pulp laden fruit juice consistency to it and finished up mildly bitter. Good but a notch below the standard for the style, especially itís bigger brother Devil Dancer.

Bottle courtesy of zathrus13. Poured a hazy light golden color with a medium sized white head. The nose is pleasently hoppy with caramel and grass notes. medium bodied, great carbonation. Flavor is slightly sweet citrus, caramel, and pine. Finishes sweet with mild hops bitterness. Very nice IPA.

Bottle. Lemon coloring. Clear. 1/2" head with visible and active carbonation. Noticeably citrusy in aroma, like a pungent graprefruit. Tangy and hoppy to the tongue that gives way to fruity notes, esp apricot-like finish. Medium body and evenly balanced throughout. Love the kick on top and this is a clear new favorite for me, a rival to Bells Hopslam for my affections.
