12oz - The aroma is sharp citrus, funky grapefruit and a soft caramel malt finish. Pours transparent gold with a small head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. The citrus hops are both sweet and sour. Palate is crisp and doughy. A very nice DIPA that is sweet and easy drinking while remaining very strongly hopped.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty beige color ale with a medium size pure white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus and bitter hops is dominating. Taste is dominated by the bitter hops with some citrus notes and some subtle floral notes also noticeable. Malt is also present and brings some refreshing sweetness to offset the hops presence. Body is full with good carbonation and no appearance of alcohol. Very well done and easily drinkable with great refreshing factor.

Brought back from Boston by Reakt massive thanks to Ang. My second dipa of the day. This has lots of leafy hop on the aroma, bit of tea. But the alcohol is a bit too obvious and a little bit hot. Lovely leafy hop aroma though, but lacks the malt to back it up although it does have a bit of toast, goodish tangerine/mandarin fruit. But then the heat negatively affects the hops on the finish. Good, but not one of the best dipas.

Bottled thanks to Sliffy. Pour is a light golden amber with little head but decent lacing. Aroma is fresh with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, and some pine with a very faint malt presence. Flavor is not as pronounced as the aroma with notes of grapefruit, pine and some resin. Initially, this was quite bitter, although as I drank through the bottle my tongue became accustomed to it. Alcohol is well-hidden. Overall, a great DIPA, although not the best.

Near clear yellow pour with wispy white head. Tastes of resiny hops with some bandaid. Very citrusy and piney. Well balanced. Lingering bitterness. some alcohol heat. AWESOME label.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing. Pours a clear amber with a white ring. Hoppy bitter aroma, with citrus, pine, and some sweeter malt and sugar notes. Nice bitter taste, of pine hops, citrus, and grass. Lingering bitterness. Very tasty.

Appearance: Pours a semi-clear, golden body with a thin, white head. Smell: Strongly hoppy, citric-smelling scent that socks you in the nose so hard, you canít help but check for a nose bleed. Fragrant notes of tangerines, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, and pine resin. As I was leaning back from the glass, I got slapped with a bouquet of fresh-picked flowers. Taste: Sweet, though short-lived perfunctory maltiness upfront. Now that thatís out of the way, itís time for some citric, acidic hints as we transition into the fruity, floral, tropical and pine-packed hop flavors. Thereís definitely a warming alcohol presence contained within, but Iím not picking up too much in the overall flavor, as my taste buds are probably far, far too busy contending with all of the hops. Thereís only one final touch of sweetness; a faint dieing gasp from the thin maltiness. Finishes dry and sharply bitter. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A punchy, downright intense Double IPA thatís in the same vein as Bellís HopSlam, though, and this is just me, I feel Iíd prefer the Bellís just a tad over this one.

This poured a clear oragne color with as big fluffy whtie head. Aroma was lots and lots of fresh piney hops. Flavor was very biting and bitter, but not as much hop flavor as I was expecting. It is what you would call a very well balanced IIPA, whixch is good but not really what I was looking for. A great beer, but not a hop bomb as one might expect.

12 oz bottle purchased from Chuckís Liquor in Bowling Green. Poured a slightly hazy gold color with orange highlights, with a one finger white head that quickly dissipated and left a good amount of lacing. The aroma was citrus (mainly grapefruit). Not a whole lot of malt in the nose. The flavor was lacking a tad bit of malt balance, but was still nice with the piney finish. This is definately a good IIPA. It doesnít quite reach the top tier, but still a solid brew.
