An imperial IPA that was brewed to turn your world upside down. Hops have got you coming and going. Pungent aromatics up front paired with a malt balanced backbone and a smooth bitter finish. 86 IBUs.

Dilly Deli on tap. A beautiful double. I’d expect nothing less from Founder’s.

Pours a beautiful clear light copper color. Small head but some nice lacing. Aroma is amazing and made me want to drink it bad. Amazing hop aroma. Mouthfeel may be a bit thin for a D/I but it doesn’t take anytything away from this brew. Amazing. Tons of hop flavor. If this thing had a touch of more malt backbone it might be one of my favorite beers of all time.

Pours bright gold into a snifter. Bright white head with medium retention leaves spotted sheets as it slowly recedes. Pine and resin aromas. Crisp pine and cannibis upfront changing to a resinous sweet caramel. Burning alcoholic hop finish.

This beer pours a hazy orange color with a medium and creamy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mostly citrus-like hops, plus some malt and alcohol in the background. Medium-bodied with a relatively strong hops character with notes of grapefruit and pineapple. Subtle pale malt in the background. The finish is citrusy hops with a bit of spicy alcohol aftertaste. Overall this is an enjoyable IIPA, the only think that would improve it in my opinion would be a little more malt balance.

Oh my... bottle, pours an angelic deep golden body that is murky from the sweet sticky hop resin, at least in my mind. The head is pure white and comprised of tiny bubble that are uncharacteristically rather loose in composition and slowly gloop down the glass after every drink. The nose is full of pine needles, surf board resin and a touch of dust. Flavors of sticky sweet pine needles, grapefruit and citrus zest dominate but a sweetness lingers in the background, sweet fruits, a touch of caramel. The pallate it was struck me the most with this beer. The first sip the flavor was so strong and delightful but the smooth texture and lingering qualities really shape this brew.

Good, but these comparisons to Hopslam are absurd. It pours looking more like a bud lite then a real ipa, not to mention double. Nose is of citrus, more peel then the fruits themselves, but citrus peel. Resiny hops abound for sure, but it just doesn’t quite add up to much more than an above average IPA(dipa).

A hazy golden yellow/orange color with a huge fluffy white head that satys around for a long time, huge amounts of sticky lace all over the insides of my glass. Smells of grass(skunk weed,in a good way)pungent citrus and piney hops with very little malt presence.Flavor at first is ultra sugary/tart grapefruit, oily lemon peel, and pine needles, more bitterness,if you let it warm enough you can detect some of the faint caramel malt tones, and this very faint note of honey. Finish is dry and a little boozy. Medium in both body and carbonation. One of the best growlers of beer ever drank. Super Ultra Good !

Nice strong resiny hop aroma to start this off. Pours a hazy light amber, with a dusting of white head. Nice crisp bitter hop flavor. Noticeable pine and grassy notes. Touches of caramel in the back end. Long bitter finish, with a nice full mouthfeel. A really tasty IIPA to compare to Hopslam.

12 oz. bottle - Poured clear light copper color with medium head. Aroma - wet hops, citrus, grapefruit and pine. Great smelling beer, the second I cracked open the bottle the room began to fill with that fresh wet hop scent!! Flavor - definite citrus mango taste and also pine. Tastes similar to hopslam with better flavor. Palate - light to medium mouthfeel with average or maybe below average carbonation. Finish is very dry and bitter. Overall - Really great DIPA that is very easy to drink. I prefer Ruination but this beer will due!!

Pours a clear bright oranged yellow with a thin white head, heterogeneous. The nose is light sweet malt laced through and through with bright fruity hops. Citrus mango, a tiny bit of resin, not terribly bitter, but very very hop-filled nose. Fresh! Fuller body with subdued and appropriate carbonation. The flavor is a hoppy explosion in the mouth. Really alive with fruity hops like the nose, but perhaps a bit more resinous. Accentuated by the alcohol, giving the light astringency a little bit of a refreshing edge to it. The malt is just almost enough to balance the hops, but not quite. This is not Devil Dancer’s little brother on the hop bill. The bitterness is serious, but completely in line with the juicy herbal hops. This is an easy drinker of a 9.4% IIPA! Perhaps drinks itself more quickly than Hopslam... perhaps better? Good grief, and I love Devil Dancer, but this is even better. Proof that more is not always better. Hopslam good at half the price!
