What a label. On tap at the Vintage Estates, nice place. This was right off the bottom of the keg, this glass kicked it. Bubbling beer shooting experience. Plenty of foam, settles attractively. Aroma of pine tree sap or crunched up pine needles, very prominent. Slightly hazy pale yellow. No carbonation on the tongue. Bitter oily soapy tasting task. Way too much personality for this lager lover. Long lingering medicinal big hoppy finish WEW. Rudeness maximus. On style, heheheh, for style I give it 10/10.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with medium white frothy head. Aroma is hops and grapefruit. Nice bitter hoppiness with mix of citrus fruit and an underlying malt. Finishes a bit sweet. Medium carbonation. This is a really good beer, bold taste but very balanced. Go find it.

Bottle. Strong nose of grapefruit and pine straw. Pours a semi darkish yellow. Man...good stuff. Very good meeting of malt and hops, with a sugary sweetness to it. initial note is somewhat bitter, but soon gives way to a sweet malty citrusy flavor, finishing again somewhat bitter. Well worth the wait for this guy.

Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip: Hazy golden hue with a lasting frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of pineapple and grapefruit, grains of paradise, pine resin, bready and biscuity malts, slight phenolic and alcohol vapours and even a hint of bubblegum. The taste starts bitter and hop driven but it is hardly a enamel scrapper however, nice juicy fruit balance and malt background. Finished with a mild hop spice and astringent character. The mouth feel is lively and enjoyable, a tad chalky towards the finish however. I know a lot of people compared this to Bells Hopslam and I can see why but this beer is a notch below the Bells offering IMO. Still a fine brew indeed and worth a try without a doubt.

Bottle. Huge hop aroma, citrus, like a good smack in the face. This beer is not balanced, it is hoppy, just like a DIPA should be. Lots of resinous spice and pine hoppiness. EXCELLENT.

Dilly Deli on tap. A beautiful double. I’d expect nothing less from Founder’s.

Pours a beautiful clear light copper color. Small head but some nice lacing. Aroma is amazing and made me want to drink it bad. Amazing hop aroma. Mouthfeel may be a bit thin for a D/I but it doesn’t take anytything away from this brew. Amazing. Tons of hop flavor. If this thing had a touch of more malt backbone it might be one of my favorite beers of all time.

Pours bright gold into a snifter. Bright white head with medium retention leaves spotted sheets as it slowly recedes. Pine and resin aromas. Crisp pine and cannibis upfront changing to a resinous sweet caramel. Burning alcoholic hop finish.

This beer pours a hazy orange color with a medium and creamy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mostly citrus-like hops, plus some malt and alcohol in the background. Medium-bodied with a relatively strong hops character with notes of grapefruit and pineapple. Subtle pale malt in the background. The finish is citrusy hops with a bit of spicy alcohol aftertaste. Overall this is an enjoyable IIPA, the only think that would improve it in my opinion would be a little more malt balance.
