4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
FROM NOTES: July 10, í12 Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. A: Hop-dominant, with heavy floral character, some light citrus, and emergent bitterness. Clean malts. A moderate strength aroma. A: Pours a hazy golden yellow, one finger of head, dissipates quickly, nice lacing. T: Upfront this beer has some malt sweetness but quickly the hop flavors begin to dominate. There is quite a bit of floral hops, as well as light hints of pine/resin and citrus/orange peel bitterness. There is a light amount of lingering bitterness with this beer. P: Medium bodied, nice finish. A little sticky and not as dry of a finish that a lot of DIPAs have. O: Iím not a hop-head, but these imperial IPAís are really selling me. It holds itís own against some of the best DIPAís out there.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It poured a clear medium amber color with a white head which had great retention and nice lace. Aroma was all hops mostly resinous pine notes. There was a moderate presence of grapefruit and a mild floral note. Flavor seemed to have a mild caramel malt note upfront which provided some sweetness to it. Hops came through mostly bitter but there was enough grapefruit to provide a bit of balance. Finish was dry.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Really good - hop forward - sweet malt in the background - more herbal than tropical fruity in the hop profile - just a bit too alcoholic - got another bottle and will enjoy that too!
