4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Bottled May 2013; Drank Nov 2013 - Hazy. Golden in colour. Mega-Hoppy; piney resinous hops; good hop bite. Fruity; bitter grapefruit and orange citrus. Salty. Malty backbone; toffee, caramel. Nice hop/fruit/malt balance. Very bitter pungent piney hoppy and citrus fruity throughout but balanced by sweet toffee malts. Smooth hoppy IIPA but not aggressive. Liked this a lot. Nice IIPA!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from systembolaget. Pours dark amber with a fairly large head. Aroma is pine, resin and grapefruit. Taste is a bit weak and unbalanced with the abv taking up a lot of space. Finishes bitter and dry.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle from SB. Pours clear light gold with small head. Peppers, clove and toffee in aroma and taste. Spicy mouthfeel, long bitter finish. A bit too high in bitterness vs sweetness, but certainly an excellent brew!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
No visible bottle date, WTF?
A: Pours a hazy grainy ale with a transient single finger of white foam which falls to a sheet with a central cap of the same. Ringed lace.
S: Lots of pine and a bit of black olive. Citrus rind as well. Pretty solidly light and sweet malt undercarriage.
T: Bitter and malty with more citrus and resin than I had anticipated. The black olive flavor still comes through here, but ever so slightly. The finish is a little hot, but this tandems with the bitterness pretty well.
M: Surprisingly thin with low carb and a dry finish.
O: This is a decent brew. I dig the matchmaking of the malts with the hops. This is not balanced, and rightfully so. As a DIPA, I would expect the beer to be dry, hoppy and crisp; kinda like a high quality czech pilsner on roids.

Sweet hops, strong bitterness. Once warmed a little this beer goes down a treat (letting the malt get involved).

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle into snifter glass, cloudy amber-hued golden color with off-white head. Aroma of seemingly light pine/citrus hops, some fruitiness, floral nuance and malt sweetness. Taste brings more up front, strong fruity/resin hop bitterness (mango, peach, grapefruit notes), some earthiness, balanced nicely in the end with some bread and light caramel malt sweetness. Heavy body, low carbonation, sticky, dry, soft with strong bitter finish. It’s a bitter IIPA with a lot of flavors, good stuff.

@ Havregatan. Flaska från Systembolaget (37:-). Härlig beska och härlig styrka men skulle eventuellt kunnat vara en aning mer humlad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into a Leffe glass. Light orange-brown with a nice but fleeting head. Big hoppy aroma, fruity, perfumed. Nice malt and hops balance, a dry finish but plenty of body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Plonk. Dark orange/amber, minimal head, alcohol evident, citrus peel, dried peaches, heavy pine resin, well hidden sweet caramel malt. A bit unbalanced, but nice.
