Nice smooth caramel front gives way too bitter citrus hops, grapefruit and orange. Hints of orange peel and light grains. Incredible creamy feel.

Poured from a growler freshly filled at Roger Wilco. Hazy golden with a strong aroma of grapefruit and pine. Starts off malty then finishes big big hoppy. Alcohol is cleverly hidden behind big favors. Highly recommended. ---Rated by Sschliv via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Pours a bright hazy gold, medium white head that dissipates quickly, no lacing. Big bitter grapefruit and pine aroma, with hints of pepper and caramel. Juicy dank hop flavor of grapefruit and pine with a solid malt backbone. Long bitter finish.

Appearance: pours with a small white head, the beer has a very slight haze to it, golden in color Aroma: faint grass, biscuit, pretty faint, citrus Taste: very bitter throughout, basically a hop bomb, has some alcohol coming thru but not bad for the abv, citrus is there Palate: lively carbonation, bitter aftertaste, lighter mouthfeel Overall: this is a bitterness bomb, the malt is hidden away and you really get the hops front and center, could use more hop flavors besides the bitterness, still a very good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper amber with a thin white head. Aroma is floral citrus hops, some grapefruit with a pungent notes, some orange marmalade as well. Taste is sweet caramel malt followed by some citrus fruity notes, grapefruit and earthy hops. Palate is a medium to full body, smooth goes down easy, good carbonation. Finish is a combination of sweet bitter caramel malt, fruity and some lingering earthy grapefruit pungent, tangy hops. Alcohol seems well behaved. Overall a very good, full flavored, easy on the palate DIPA

Orange beer with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Hoppy nose of grapefruit pith, pine resin, and floral notes. Flavor is a more powerful version of the same--super hoppy with a resinous aftertaste that lingers. Solid effort from Founders, but with so many IPAs out there these days, only the truly exceptional distinguish themselves anymore, and this is not one of them.

This is pretty good I like it more than most of the other founders ipas. I like the hoppiness but it’s a little generic for something that comes in a 4 pack...

This is a dank, resiny, oily slick double IPA. Big malt on the front end with a bitter, bitter finish. An enjoyable beer, but at 9%+ taking down more than one would be a struggle.
