12 oz bottle shared by Someister- thanks! Nice, big DIPA- pine, fruit medley, a bit of honey & malt. Mostly bitter, though, which is a nice surprise at 86 IBUís.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Not much of an aroma and basically no head. A great balanced, bitter taste that masks the alcohol well, then the alcohol comes through with great warmth.

Another Founders hit. Strong hop aroma with pine and floral. Golden copper color. Medium weight and smooth. Bitterness up front but balanced with a nice caramel backbone. Finishes well.

Bottle. Beermoth, Manchester. Hazy gold. Film of white head, that lasts to the end. Dank, orange hop. Light toffee. Hint of spice. Ripe fruit, and overripe banana in the background. Taste is spicy bitter. Some sweet. Palate is full, quite rich. A little boozy. Finishes oily bitter. Some dryness on the close. Not hugely vibrant, but nevertheless very tasty and drinkable.

Bottle. A- Bready, caramel, citrus, hoppy, malty. A- Copper color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Bready, caramel, citrus, bitter. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bready bitter finish. O- At first sip you get kicked in the teeth with the amount of hops in this beer. It starts out with a nice bready caramel palate that quickly turns into a fruity taste and then instantly leaves you with bitterness that tingles your tongue on the finish. Overall, this is a good beer, certainly not my favorite from Founders, but one I can appreciate.

12 oz bottle. Pours orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, sweet malt and ripe pears. Body is full and tangy. Citrusy hops dominate the palate, while biscuit malt and ripe fruit provide some support. Finish is long, dry, and bitter. Excellent brew.

Even though the bottle artwork creeps me the hell out (seriously, has Salvador Dali been resurrected and kept a secret by Founders?), Double Trouble blew my mind. It has a lovely burnt orange color, a surprisingly clear body, and a frothy head. Aroma isnít too unusual; dank citrus and pine, plus a little malt. Taste is an anomaly. Smooth sailing at the start with sweet malt making the first impression. Dry, nectar-like, and floral - redolent of fresh honey. The malt is only given a moment to shine before hoppier flavors take over, but itís glorious while it lasts. Tropical fruits come next with lemon zest, orange, and mango. Once again, itís too good to last. Finally, youíre hit with it: bitter, sticky grapefruit. Itís brisk but controlled. At the end, the malt makes a brief reappearance. The sweetness and bitterness merge to create a spicy note that hints at ginger - damn good stuff. Bitterness lingers. My 4-Pack is almost gone. Now THAT is trouble.

Bottle. Boom. That's an ipa. I'm impressed but maybe a little drunk as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at bulldog ne. Gold with thick white head and good lacing. Nice aroma. Flavor more mild than expected. Alcohol and sweet pine. Some bitter hop finish.

Poured from a bottle. Decent head and lacing. Slightly cloudy orange. Sweet but not overwhelming aroma, crisp and clean. The taste isnít overly sweet. I wished there was a bit more hoppiness.
