12 oz bottle shared by Someister- thanks! Nice, big DIPA- pine, fruit medley, a bit of honey & malt. Mostly bitter, though, which is a nice surprise at 86 IBUís.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique August 2013. Great beer and and even greater label. You can really feel the big alcohol kick in this beer. Hops are everywhere and take over both the aroma and flavour.

Orange, slightly cloudy pour with a tiny white head which fades quickly. Big grapefruit, citrus and pine aroma. Malty, citrusy up front, bitter, slight sweetness comes through with more citrus.

Look: pours a light orange. Bright white head. Thick lacing hangs on the edge of the glass. Smell: fruit bubble gum. Pineapple. Mango. Tropical fruits. Sweet fruits. Taste: slight bitterness all the way through. Pineapple. Passion fruit. Sweet tropical fruits. Alcohol Feel: leaves a film on the mouth. Dryness makes you want another drink. Medium carbonation. Overall: good beer. Wish it tasted more like it smelled, but still ok. First drank: home 7/18/14

Strong grapefruit aroma with a bit of orange behind it. Clear light golden color with a thin white head. Great taste without being overpowering as some doubles. Clean finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It pours golden with a head that produces a fair amount of lacing. It has a large hoppy aroma with citrus and a touch of malt. There is caramel malt with floral and citrus flavors. It has a strong bitter finish.

Max grapefruit, great bitter kick with pine and sticky resin. Hops win the malt v bitters battle which is what I want from a DIPA. Great in the glass (or mason jar in this case) on point with the esthers. Can I find a Founders brew I donít like?

Fruity and sweet and a bit harsh astringency on the finish. Reminds of GD Hercules, not a fan. Least favorite Founders beer, I think.

Nice citrus nose. Good hop character that fades but sticks with you as you consume more. Piney and resin taste. A little thin on the palate. Overall good, but not blow you away.

Pours a dark yellow and fairly clear. Small amount of white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops and maybe a bit of malty sweetness in the background. Taste follows the nose with up front hops and some bitter citrus with floral mixed in and a hint of sweet. This is my first time having this offering and it was superb.
