Bottle at the Brewer’s. Pours a medium orange, fluffy off white head. Aroma is heavy grapefruit - really juicy. Taste is big bitterness balanced by sticky sweet malt bill, some spiciness. Mouthfeel is full with pleasant lingering bitterness. Excellent beer.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head and a fizzy looking body. The aroma is quite gingery with a dulled hoppedness, and the flavour is very well hopped with plenty of maltiness and dryness. Overall a nice very well hopped IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£3.79):
This one was a very strong and incredibly bitter double IPA, one that I was expecting to be as such but I still ended up surprised by the strength of it, it was absolutely loaded with hops. A very in your face beer and one that had to be sipped away at slowly rather than quaffed, perhaps the only thing that prevented me from rating it that little bit higher.

One of my favorites in a short Ipa drinking career. Can’t get enough of this beer, bought a few cases on special at $4 per four pack. Nice taste and smooth for a 9.4% ipa. Love it.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 Nothing special tastes like it could be a double centennial ale. A little too malty. This bottle is four months old but that shouldn’t mellow it that much. Really bummed with this one.

Mild aroma of pine and some citrus from hops. Paler in appearance than anticipated. Deep yellow with a thin white head. Rich malt up front underneath some heavy bitterness. Warming alcohol burn as it finishes. Bitterness is ripe up front, but mellows somewhat on finish. Watery mouth feel....thin. Average.

Bottle. Golden and slightly bitter. Lots of complex flavours burst out the bottle. As good as I expected and worth trying.

Bottle from hop hideout, sheffield. Pale orange ale with small white head. Aroma is fruity with Orange peel and grapefruit. Taste is brilliant crisp dry bitterness. My respect for founders is gaining speed, probably the best major brewery in usa.
