Murky butterscotch from bottle. Average white top. Laced. Big fat aromatics. Malted citrus rind. Pine hits. A little booze up the sinus cavity. Taste is toned down given the big nose. Very malt forward. Orange and grapefruit notes with evergreen cone. Well masked alcohol. Thick mouthfeel. A bitter and dry conclusion. Proper.

12 oz bottle pours a nice clear golden color with a quickly receding white head, nice lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit gives way to malt and some caramel. This is a very well balanced brew. There is a lot to like in this beer, but hey! It’s from Founders, it’s good for me, and good for you! Try it!

Nose is predominantly pine, with some caramel malt in the background. Flavor is same plus orange marmalade, grapefruit rind, crackery/doughy/crystal malt. Really great balance.

12 oz bottle into a tulip. Light golden color. Pine characteristics dominate the aroma and flavor. Quite bitter, but it doesn’t destroy the palate like others in this style do. Very good beer.

Flaska. Trevlig doft med lite maltkaraktär. Lättdrucken med fina balanserade smaker. Typisk amerikansk dipa med djupa smaker o fin efterbeska. Smaskens

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber, bubbly white head, lots of lace. Taste is caramel malt, but it doesn’t last. Strong citrus hops blanket the whole thing and float like a magic carpet to a long, long finish. Malt attempts to re-emerge, but with little success. A big ale, great for hop-heads, but good for the rest of us, as well.

Pours a nice amber gold color with nice lacing and some head retention. Smells piney and hoppy. Has a resiny characteristic. Finishes strong and bitter, but not over the top. Big fan of this beer!
