4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Color looks like a pils-- very light. Great hop flavor-- almost tastes like a mix of noble and Pacific NW hops. Big hop taste, but a little soft also. Very enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange beer with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Hoppy nose of grapefruit pith, pine resin, and floral notes. Flavor is a more powerful version of the same--super hoppy with a resinous aftertaste that lingers. Solid effort from Founders, but with so many IPAs out there these days, only the truly exceptional distinguish themselves anymore, and this is not one of them.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is pretty good I like it more than most of the other founders ipas. I like the hoppiness but it’s a little generic for something that comes in a 4 pack...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a dank, resiny, oily slick double IPA. Big malt on the front end with a bitter, bitter finish. An enjoyable beer, but at 9%+ taking down more than one would be a struggle.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden amber with thin head. Immediate taste of malt followed 2 seconds later of earthy hops that stay with you long long after you swallow. Then the hops actually build when you swallow again.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2014 Its in a 4-pack, with date on bottle necks. Pours dark orange with a tangerine hue. This has a small, half-finger head that fades fairly fast. It has plenty of evenly dispensed particulate, if you inspect it closely in a clean, thin glass. It is not hazy, but it is not clear. It has a great aroma, lots of dry hopping and a healthy dose of malt to back it up. You won’t get a crushing west coast aroma, but it is typical Founders, malt-heavy with citrus and some very sweet malt. It hits the front of the mouth with a burst of bitterness, however the medium-full body evens that out very fast with a huge malt load and the sweetness that finishes all the way down. It does have a slightly bitter back-end, but that is well placed and helps break the sweet malt load. It finishes dry and has some minimal alcohol warming on the way down, but the alcohol is very well hidden. It is like the Devil Dancer’s little brother. It is not a session brew, so dont plan on 6-8 of them. It is great, but will put a buzz on. Its not a blow-your-shoes-off Devil Dancer, but it is not a joke either.! Its a perfect Double IPA!

4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Opaque straw color, with thin head. Smell is very fruity and malty(read as: awesome). Taste is a lot more bitter than it smells, with a lingering hoppy sharpness. Feel is good. Overall, a pretty solid brew.
