Draft at Craft. Poured hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose was wheaty malty, with some citrus, lemongrassy hops, and clovey spice. Tasted malty, with heavy hops, citrus, and mild spice. Good, but I’m not as overwhelmed by this one as some are.

On draft at Capones. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a frosty medium sized white head. Aroma of citrus, light wheat, pine and hops. Taste is much the same as the aroma with a touch of lemon. Very nice refreshing summer brew.

On tap at Capone’s (thanks Matt for getting this rarity in!). Poured a lighter to medium yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, spiciness (cloves and peppers), and grassy. Tastes of citrus, spicy, grass, and wheat. Very nice, and for me, especially for a Wheat Ale.

This was a nice wheat beer. Decent balance.. I’d hit that again if it shows up on tap.

Big PNW hopped-up wheat...what’s not to like? Very interesting Gumballhead clone. Grassy wheat flavor, touches of tartness with giant hop scoops full of PNW hops thrown in liberally...very citrusy and touches of pine as well. Curiously I find it both refreshing and addictive!

on tap at founders...brewed in tribute to Three Floyds Gumballhead...this is pretty much an overly-hopped wheat...quite refreshing, but the centennial hops (amarillo maybe?) are too dominant...that being said, after a trying this a few times, i find it dangerously drinkable on a hot day...nice.

On tap at Founders Fest 08. Asked about a picture of this laying around the brewery a while ago, and very pleased to finally get some. Nice refreshing wheat with some good hops to liven it up a bit. Went great with a nice summer day. Please bottle this!

Tap at the brewery. Bright, hazy, yellow pour with a 1 finger, lasting, white head. Big citrus, pine, and grapefruit aroma with some lemon, clove, and pepper. Bright citrus flavor with some pine in the finish. Also has some grassy and straw notes. Medium body with a dry finish and high carbonation.
