On tap at Founders. The pour is a wonderful bright amber with a nice thin collar of white head and some great lacing. The aroma is very hoppy and bitter with a malt profile that comes through on the back end. There isn't a lot of complexity here and is really hoppy. The flavor is really hoppy as well. The malt comes through about half way through and a good bitterness kicks in. It's not overly bitter, but it is pretty decent. The mouth feel is thinner and there isn't much carbonation. The aftertaste is lingering bitter hops. Pretty good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is light hops, light malt. Appearance is a beautiful amber, white head. Taste is hops, BITTER, some light caramel. Mouthfeel is light but ok, flavor hangs a lot. Overall, might be the best bitter Iíve tasted and Iím not surprised.

Had on tap at Founders. Served in a nonic pint. A: Pours a dark amber color with some clear brown highlights to it. A white head forms on the pour and recedes to thin cap. Sticky white lace is left down the glass. S: Light citrus hops with a caramel malt sweetness. Some sweetened biscuit malt with subtle grassy nature with a touch of dankness. T: The taste pretty much follows the nose. Very sweet caramel malt backbone with a little cereal grain as well. Nice bursts of citrus hops with with some background dankness to it and minimal grassy notes. M: Light bodied and very easy drinking. Medium low carbonation with a dry finish. O: Very solid and drinkable beer. Nice balance of hops and malty sweetness. Iíd definitely knock back a few pints of this. Serving type: on-tap

Deep amber, minimal head. medium bitterness, but still quite smooth. nice complexity. Why arenít ESBs more common in the craft world?
