This dark, smooth, hazelnut stout is one of our favorites! Brewed with hazelnut-flavored coffee.

On nitro draft at Founders. Pours a dark brown, near black on the pour. Very nice, inch big, cascading head. Smell is all hazelnut espresso and I love it. Thereís even more in the taste. If youíre not into hazelnut, this maybe tough for you, but Iím totally digging it. Very smooth and creamy from the nitro tap. Perfect cold night beer.

draft at founders.....appearance: dark rown almost black with fluffy tan head...aroma: hazelnutty is the best way to describe it. nothing more to it than that but i like it.....taste" creamy body, strong malt component and dominated by the hazelnut flavor....nice to see a lower abv stout with a little flair.

Thats what that smell is! Just had on tap of this, and couldnít put my finger on that smell. Nice creamy head. Very interesting idea for a stout. I thought it almost tasted like a cappuccino-ish stout. Great idea, just not a big fan of the flavors used.

Pretty much your hazelnut bomb. Aroma of hazelnut and kettle corn overpower everything. There is nothing more to say about this brew,if your into the aroma and taste of hazelnut, this is your brew.Everyone at our table loved it,although we wondered if we would really want a pint of it,but you know what,it was big ballsy, and I give Founders all the credit for doing it this big

draught, immediate aroma of hazlenut. Thatís it. Hazlenut and oatmeal stout, light chocolate. Very tasty, if you absolutely love hazlenut. Slight roasted hazlenut coffee flavor. Buttery, but smooth and creamy. The hazlenut is FAR too overpowering, thatís its only flaw. I enjoy this much better mixed. Try it with the Redís Rye sometime, itís FANTASTIC

Draft at Founders. Dark brown pour with an average creamy off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Soild toasted malt and hazelnut aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture. Solid sweet toasted malt and hazelnut flavor with a moderate finish.

Nitro draft at Founders. This one looked a lot like their Oatmeal Stout, that is fantastic. However, it had a lot more in the aroma and flavor departments. I loved the hazelnut flavor to this one. Get in my belly!

From growler...imagine it wouldve been nice and creamy on nitro, still was out of the growler but had more potential, huge aroma of malt vanilla and coffee, flavor of roast, chocolate malt, nut flavors. Would love to try on Nitro.

on the nitro...so a pretty typical and common appearance as well as palate (both good, but very ordinary)....agree with silphium that although this is a good beer, they should try something new for a stout....aroma is full of coffee and nuts; taste is of roasted malts, mixing the hazelnut coffee and nuts, as well as chocolate...
